Background
I am currently a graduate student studying Human Factors Psychology at Wichita State University. I graduated from Central Missouri State University in 1997 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Aviation Technology. I have been employed by Cessna Aircraft Company since May 1996. My professional experience includes: design engineer, structures engineer and human factors engineer. Please see my resume if you have further interest in my employment background.
Research Interests
My general research interests are aviation psychology and human factors engineering. My specific interests include vision, psychophysiology, and cognition as they apply to artificial environments such as cockpit displays, virtual environments, and synthetic vision. I am currently investigating the effects Electronic Flight Bags (EFBs) on pilot performance.
