Hello and welcome to The Crane Foundation. TCF is a non-profit organization which was founded in 1996. The primary purpose of TCF is to increase the quality of life for both our planet and our society. Members are made up of people from all races, religions, genders, and ages. The tie that binds our members together is an active application of the nine principles listed below and a willingness to make a difference. In essence, we are simply a group of people coming together to share our hearts, our talents, our ideas, and a small portion of our time so that we might all grow to be better human beings, more capable and better equipped to face our shared world with more positive, loving, understanding, compassionate hearts and minds.
Each individual member is a living example of the ideas and principles on which this organization is founded. The members are the most simple, important, and available means by which we will make a difference in the condition of life in this society.
The purpose of this organization is not to force our beliefs and ideas onto one another, but rather to take what we already do believe and apply it in a direction so as to increase love and awareness among humanity as a whole. By basing our purpose for coming together around the aforementioned principles, the entire group can become an inspiration, an "infectious example," for the rest of our society, creating a better world for those who have yet to come.
The site progression has slowed down considerably due to my deployment to Bosnia. Please be patient and email me if you are willing to help me keep it going. From this trip I am intending to paint a vivid picture of the situation here through the use of both pictures and through writing.
