Sergeant Vic Vitrano a native of Independence was hired by Independence Police Department as a fulltime reserve officer. Sergeant Vitrano worked his way up to full time patrolman and is now a sergeant assigned to day shift. Sergeant Vitrano has attended numerous classes and schools including Louisiana State University Law Enforcement Training Academy’s P.O.S.T. course the 150th BTA. Sergeant Vitrano is a very valuable and dedicated member of the Independence Police Department.
