WANTED PERSON
Independence Police Department, Independence, LA (985) 878 – 4188, Is searching for Leslie Giddens a 23 year old black Male wanted for robbery. Giddens allegedly entered “Jiffy Mart # 6” an Exxon station located on US 51 in Independence, LA on December 4, 2005 at approximately 5:50 AM and demanded that the Cashier give him the money from the safe. The cashier handed the money over to Giddens who then fled the store. The cashier then notified Independence Police Department. Officer Richard Wright with the aid of Hammond Police Detective Kohn Milton examined the store surveillance video and other evidence and was able to get an arrest warrant issued for Giddens. There was no one injured in this incident.
Crime stoppers ( 1 800 554 (JAIL) 5245 )is offering a reward for Information leading to the arrest of Giddens, who should be considered dangerous.

You must pass a Drug Screen and a Psychological Exam. Vacation time earned at (1) year (1) week, (3) years (2) weeks, (5) years (3) Weeks. Retirement is with the Municipal Police Retirement System.
