Flight to the Moon

Here is another song from the songwriting game Chris and I played at camp. I wrote this song under the inspiration of Brave Saint Saturn's "Space Robot 5." "Flight to the Moon" is a song about a boy who chases his dream of going to the moon even though people laugh at him.

Verse 1
There was a boy who knew that he could fly,
And he wanted to go to the moon.
So he spent his life figuring out how to get there,
And he built a rocket to make his dream come true.

Verse 2
His friends all called him crazy;
I guess they weren’t real friends anyway.
Maybe that’s why at such a young age
He had made up his mind to go far away.

I’ll be there one day soon.
Ever since I was a little child
I’ve wanted to fly so far away.
