I wrote this song in July/August of 2000 after I got back from visiting my sister in California. Even though my sister is really cool, I wasn't really looking forward to the trip because my sister and I were never really close. Basically she was out of the house when I was 9 or 10. Well, I had a wonderful time when I went out to see her!!! It was just really cool. I went surfing, we played board games, and I went to the San Diego zoo and saw the most amazing thing I've ever seen in my life: a snake with two heads!!! It just really reminded me how creative God is, and the entire trip was just an awesome bonding experience that I'm certain God had planned long ago.

Went out to California, to see my sister.
She had moved out there five years before.
I had not made the chance to go out and see her
