Where Do We Go From Here?

Forgive me. This is the product of Christian Existentialism paired with late adolesence.

Verse 1
I didn’t come here to complain,
Just to state my point of view.
My life seems so mundane,
And the monotony runs straight through.
Seems like I’m trapped in on all sides,
And defeat just calls my name.
I kick the walls to stay alive,
But they won’t yield; they just stay the same.

Chorus
Where do we go from here,
Now that the fountain’s dry?
When the blister of life hangs by a common thread,
Do we live or do we die?

Verse 2
Every day the same occurrences,
I pray for an aberration.
Every day the same disturbances,
I pray for amelioration.

Bridge
But I know this is where you want me to be,
Cause I keep on asking you,
And you keep on telling me
“Do not fear, I’m watching over you constantly.”
