The mission of this program is to find safe, loving homes for Westies that are in desperate need of them. They come into rescue for a variety of reasons, some of the most common being relocation, death of an owner, the birth of a baby, an elderly owner needing a nursing home, abandonment, or Westies that have been rescued from puppymill conditions.
If you are interested in adopting one of these rescued Westies, please see the forms section of this website to complete the necessary applications. If you know of a Westie in need please see the appropriate form, or if it is an emergency, please contact LWR immediately! |

This is a new program in the Louisiana area, and dogs are not always immediately available. After completing the application you will be contacted when a needy dog becomes available that would best benefit from your love and care.
Thank you for your concern for these wonderful animals. Let’s give them a second chance for a safe and happy home! |
