GOD
strolled through the earth that he had just created and God
expressed himself. The pureness of his mind went forth and the
radiancy of his Glory and buttercups filled the ground. And the
Earth was arrayed and God smiled. For God expressed himself.
GOD
looked up at the great expanse of atmosphere and what men call
the UNIVERSE and once again his pure mind spilled forth and white
clouds adorned the heavens and his holiness spread its blue
carpet to catch the fuzzy cotton as it rolled past .....and God
expressed himself.
He
over looked the dirt and mud and the greeness of his eternal
purpose painted liberally the grass; and the trees and the hills
and his Majestic Royalty splurted forth in a purple banner of
Mountains. A background befitting a Master of the Universe.....and
God expressed himself.
And
God thought------what can I show them next? And God chuckled and
he hung the dimples from his cheek for men to see----they twinkle
each night to remind us-------I've called you by your name. And
the stars laughed back. And God.....expressed himself.
I
want my man to know; he thought, that I am not only the Light of
this world but I am the Light of every world and all evolves
about me. So God lavishly spread his Glory above the heavens and
the golden rays of warmth filled the days. And this he called the
Sun. ....and God expressed himself.
I
will remind man that I also have been alone and have needed a
friend. So the gray drabness of aloneness found its' way into
shadows and skins of animals. And even God's drab times were
beautiful. And God....expressed himself.
With
a resounding laugh he said to himself-----I will allow men to
know that there is no darkness that I the Lord cannot cover------so
he picked up a mud ball and as a child in happy abandon through
it high into the air-------millions of miles --away --and once
again overshadowed it with the pureness of his spirit; and the
dark, black moon retracted his pureness. .....And God expressed
himself.
He
painted and he beheld and all was good. And God was pleased that
men would enjoy his picture to them.
But something was missing--------------And God outdid himself. For he found a tree and he painted it RED. With the blood of the only begotten son that whosoever would believe that he was the Son of God would never perish------and God's Greatest Expression hung on a Cross on a dark Friday. God's Greatest Expression lay in a tomb on a colorless Saturday. And Love Personified filled the Earth. And God's Greatest Expression -----the Act of Love Arose on Easter. He burst forth in Victory and said" Come unto me all ye that are heavy laden and I will give you rest"-------And God ETERNALLY EXPRESSED HIMSELF FOR ALL TIME TO ALL MEN--------ON CALVARY.---------GOD LAID DOWN HIS LIFE FOR YOU -------WHAT WILL YOU DO? TO EXPRESS YOURSELF TO GOD?
