The article above was written by Bob Anderson who says he sat in the courtroom and listened to the testimony that was given, apparently he didn't listen to the testimony any better than the jury did. In this article he says the three boys went to the ballpark to meet Shane to buy drugs, this is a blatent lie! I spoke to Bob Anderson on the phone and pointed this out to him, he refused to retract or correct this statement. On the phone with me he was very insensitive and cold.

After quiet a few phone calls from me and others, I finally spoke to Ms. Linda Lightfoot, she agreed to speak to the District Attorney who prosecuted the case. Within a short time, she called me and apologized and said a correction would be printed in the paper the next day. Here is the correction:


Bob Anderson never apologized for the mistake or his callous attitude.
