- Tulane University -- New Orleans, La. Tulane University has a highly credited staff and is very good at accommodating both new and old students.
- Louisiana State University (LSU) -- Baton Rouge, La. Known for their quality of education and school mascot, the tiger, LSU is a unique state funded college with a lot of school spirit and pride.
- University of New Orleans (UNO) -- New Orleans, La. An excellent university, with excellent surroundings.
- Unversity of Louisiana at Lafayette, (ULL, formerly USL) -- Lafayette, LA ULL recently changed its name from USL, University of Southwestern Louisiana.
- Nicholls State University (NSU)-- Thibodeaux, LA Big attitude, little town.
