2002/2003 will be remembered as John McDougall's year. Despite giving main challengers Dave and Norman Cunningham a 4 game start by going on holiday, John went top of the Gourdie league when he won his last game and won the competition. This was quickly followed by winning the Super League trophy, and then he went on to represent England in the World Senior's. Much to the amusement/amazement of most in the club, John returned from Winnipeg clutching the award for Sportsmanship! What next? Tommy Lavery apointed peace envoy to the Middle East? Ken McLeod writing a book on how to answer a question in as few words as possible? Ron Ramsay and Alastair Donald taking out season tickets for Parkhead? Oh well, let's see what 2003/2004 has to offer.
