2 CUPS CORNMEAL (WHITE OR YELLOW)
1 TEASPOON BAKING POWDER
1 TEASPOON SALT
1- 1/2 CUPS MILK
1/2 CUP OIL
OPTIONAL AT THE END 2 TABLESPOONS SUGAR

MIX ALL INGREDIENTS EXCEPT FOR SUGAR AND OIL. IN SKILLET PERFERABLY BLACK POT HEAT THE OIL. ONCE HEATED ADD IN MIXTURE. COOK UNTIL CRUST FORMS ON THE BOTTOM THEN STIR LOWER TO LOW HEAT. COVER AND COOK FOR 15 TO 20 MINUTES STIRRING OCCASIONALLY. EAT WITH MILK . SOME PREFER TO ADD SUGAR TO IT BEFORE EATING.
