SYRUP CAKE

1- 1/2 CUPS SUGAR
1/2 TSP CINNAMON
1 CUP COOKING OIL
2 1/2 CUPS FLOUR
1 CUP PURE CANE SYRUP
2 EGGS WELL BEATEN
1 CUP BOILING WATER
PINCH OF SALT
2 TSP. SODA
1 TSP. GINGER

DISSOLVE SODA IN BOILING WATER COMBINE IN ORDER STARTING ON THE LEFT ADDING WELL BEATEN EGGS LAST. BAKE IN A 13 X 9 PAN. BAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR ABOUT 40 MINUTES
