You know how people, especially Northern people, are always putting down on Southern people? Well this page is dedicated to Southern people! We are gonna cover all the areas of this subject because this really bugs us. Let's see why the South is just so much better than the North, shall we?

1. It is not cold down here! We don't know about ya'll, but we like summer! Summers are so much longer and pleasant down here. It hardly ever snows here in the winter, if it does, it is not enough to stick. I mean, you can go mudriding, on fourwheelers, in Febuary down here! Lindsay P. has done it.

2. People are way friendlier down here. Southern hospitality! It's great! When you drive in Mississippi and Louisiana, everyone you pass on the road waves at you. If you go to a church down here, everyone comes up to you and shakes your hand and makes you feel comfortable. Advice for Northern people who might make a trip down here, do not be alarmed if someone you barely know hugs you. Everyone hugs down here! But be careful who hugs you, because there are weirdos down here too, haha.

3. Last, but certainly not least, the food is waaaaaaaay better down here! The food up there is so bland, now I know why you people are so skinny! Because you have not had the experience of tasting delicious food. Some of the best food is down South! You people need to get acquainted with Tony's Seasoning! It's great! There are more seasonings than just salt. Salt is good, but pepper is good too.

You may be thinking, "Hey, I have seen you people on tv, and you don't seem very bright." Well, see, when something happens up there, news people always talk to the lawyer or the doctor to see what happened. Down here, they find the dumbest people to talk to. Like they will go to Billy Bob the construction worker, or a middle aged woman with curlers in her hair and teeth missing who responds to the name Bubba. I know that there are hicks down here, but not all of us are hicks.

I also get tired of people saying that we talk funny, maybe ya'll, oh I mean "you guys" are the ones who talk funny! You people say that we talk too slow, but maybe "you guys" talk too fast! We are just laid back and that's how we talk. LAID BACK! Not perky and excited like a little lap dog. Haha, no offence, I don't want to be mean and put Northern people down, I just think it's time for Southern people to stand up for theirselves.

There are many different foods the South is famous for and we think the most famous one is ,CRAWFISH! Have you ever had crawfish? Do not come down here and go back home without at least trying it! There is nothing like a big, Southern crawfish boil! Getting together with your fellow Southerners and boiling crawfish. Chunk some potatoes and mushrooms in that pot too! Anything you want! It all works!

Shrimp! Shrimp is great too! You can make many things with shrimp. I can't even name everything you can make with this. If you are gonna try crawfish and shrimp, you should probably just go ahead and try lobster and crab. Go ahead and try catfish too! Catfish is great, you just have to find a place that cooks good catfish.

Another Southern food is, Gumbo! Gumbo is delicious. There are many different ways to cook it and many different things you can put in it. The most common is chicken and sausage gumbo.

Jumbilia is another good food. It has chicken and suasage in it too. It is like a dry rice, but it is delicious! These are some of the many foods you must come down here and try, Don't try to make them up there, you'll only mess it up. Come down here and we'll show you hows it's done!

A few things southerners love to do!

Fish for bass and then fry it up to eat
Hunt for deer and eat
Eat fried chicken, collard greens, okrah and corn bread
Have barbecues
Drinking sweet tea with lots of ice
Relaxing on the porch on a lazy sunday afternoon
As you can see we love our food! ! ! !

A few Things Northerners do that bug us southerners!

Talk fast! Whats the hurry?
Say you guys instead of Ya'll, ya'll is so much easier to say and if that doesn't convince you saying ya'll is a little faster too.
Say "would you like a pop?" what? a pop? no! heck no! do you want me to pop you upside your head!?
