As Ambassador Kamal, the instructor for this course quoted: "This is not just about the theory and practice of Leadership; it is about becoming leaders ourselves." The following are assignments, which will help the students of diplomacy and international relations shape into great leaders. Presentations of various Case Study take place every class. Thus, the students are assigned to read the ones which are to be presented for each particular class. In my case, I had to first present a Case history on Confucius, Machiavelli, and Rousseau. Secondly, I had to present Chapter 3 of Nancy J. Alder's book entitled Organizational Behavior. Thirdly, I had to present Chapter 3 of Harris Moran's book entitled Managing Cultural Differences. Fourthly, I had to present Chapter 12 of that same last book. Furthermore, each student had write Class Notes for each class, in order to maintain a complete record of each class on the home page. Additionaly, the Final paper for this course was assigned for Tuesday April 22th, 2003. This one should outline the Life of a contemporary leader. In my case I chose a business leader for this assignment - Mr William (Bill) H. Gates.
