Chapter 13- *FEW WEEKS LATER*
“Aren’t you totally psyched?” Adam asked Jay, “Tonight we get our tag team titles back!” Jay nodded as he stretched out. His mind was elsewhere as he got ready for the live taping of Raw that started in a few hours.
“What’s up man?” Adam asked worriedly, “Is it Alison?”
“I miss her,” Jay sighed, “We haven’t seen each other in close to a month and we haven’t talked in over a week. Besides, I can’t shake this bad feeling…”
“Don’t worry man,” Adam said as he patted his best friend’s back, “I’m sure she’s fine, and in less than 3 hours, we will be tag team champs again.”
“You’re right,” Jay said as he looked at his script for that night. A few minutes later, Adam’s cell phone rang from his bag.
Adam answered quickly, “Hello…Max…are you ok… what happened… Is she ok…” Adam looked quickly at Jay, whose eyes were filled with concern, “Ok Max, we’ll be there as soon as we can.” Adam hung up the phone and turned to Jay.
“What happened?” Jay demanded, his voice filled with alarm, “Is it Aly?”
“Yeah,” Adam said quickly as he gathered his stuff, “We’ve gotta go, she’s in the hospital and she’s unconscious.”
“Oh my god!” Jay cried as he quickly threw some things into his bag, grabbed it, and quickly ran out of the room, Adam right on his heels.

Adam and Jason ran into the hospital, the whole plane ride and car ride there was a blur to Jay. They ran up to the floor the nurses told them Alison was on and right into the waiting room where a worried Max sat.
“Adam,” she cried as she quickly got up and threw her arms around him.
“What happened?” Adam asked as she stepped back. Tears were still streaming down Max’s face and her mascara was running. She took a deep breath and wiped away the tears.
“I got home, and she was lying on the floor,” Max explained her voice cracking, “Her face was all bruised, she was unconscious… I was so scared… She was bleeding…”
“Was it Tom?” Adam demanded.
Max nodded, “I think so, they have him in custody right now.”
“What did the doctors say about Aly’s condition?” Adam asked as he looked at Jay, who looked close to breaking down.
“All they told me was the sooner she wakes up the better,” Max cried, “the longer she’s out, the less likely she is to wake up…”Max started to cry again, Adam wrapped her in his arms.
“Can I go see her?” Jason finally asked. Max nodded and told him the room number as he made his way down the hall.
Jason got to the closed door, and took a deep breath, bracing himself for the worst. As he opened the door and looked at the woman he loved he let out a cry, knowing this was worse than he could ever imagine.
