Chapter 7
Alison woke up when she heard knocking on the door, she sighed and rolled over as she looked at Max’s empty bed. Aly let out a tired groan as she climbed out of bed and walked to the door. Aly opened the door to see Jay standing there looking wide-awake and excited.
“Hey,” he said as she opened the door, “Wow, you look tired.”
“Yeah,” she said trying to make herself wake up, “What’s up?”
“What are you doing today?” he asked as he walked in and sat on the end of her bed, “Cause Max and Adam are out, and I thought we could hang out together.”
“I’d like that,” Alison said as she got closer to Jay, “What do u have planned?”
“I had a decent idea,” he said as he put his arms around her waist and pulled her close, “But you have to wait and be surprised.”
“Do I?” Aly said as she leaned closer her lips almost touching his.
“Yeah, you do.” Jay said as he placed his lips on Aly’s and kissed her softly. She pushed away slowly.
“I’ll go, but first I have to get ready,” she said walking to the bathroom, “You wouldn’t want a stinky girlfriend with you, now would you?”
Jay laughed as she retreated to the bathroom and he leaned back hoping she’d like his surprise.

Jay pulled his car onto a dirt road as Aly fiddled with the radio stations.
“So where exactly are you taking me, Mr. Reso?” she asked smiling.
Jason laughed, “You have to hold out, but I can guarantee you will love it, it’s beautiful.” Aly leaned back and smiled, Jason stopped the car in the middle of an empty field. Aly looked around curiously, as Jay opened the door for her.
“Jay,” she asked, “where are we?”
“You’ll see,” he told her with a wink, as he pulled out two bags from the trunk and took Aly’s hand, “Come on, this way.”
Aly followed Jay as they walked into a wooded area and walked for a few minutes in silence. As they exited the wooded area, Alison gasped at what she saw. A large waterfall was flowing into a river with little rapids everywhere.
“It’s gorgeous,” Aly gasped as she stared at the waterfall in awe.
“I thought you’d like it,” Jay said as he put down his bags and sat down, he pulled Aly into his lap. She snuggled into the warmth of his body.
“My mom and I found this place when she took me here the first time, I was 5,” he explained, “My mom and I are close, and it made this place special. I couldn’t just bring anyone here; this place is sacred to me. That’s why I wanted you to come with me, I wanted to share this with you.”
Aly’s eyes lit up as she turned around and looked at him, “Really?”
“Of course,” Jay said softly as he placed a soft kiss on her neck, “I don’t think you realize it, but you are really special to me, Aly, and I really care about you.” Aly felt touched as tears filled her eyes.
“Jay,” she said as the tears started to fall down her face, she got out of his lap and turned kneeling to face him,” I have been waiting for so long for someone to say that to me, and I care about you so much.”
Jay cupped her face with his hands and brought his lips to her, Alison pulled away slightly, “Jay?” she whispered.
“Yeah,” he said as he took her hands in his.
“Not that I’m not totally loving this,” she said, “but do you think we are moving too fast, I mean we’ve only known each other for 3 days.”
“I know,” he said looking into her eyes, “but that is how I feel, so what that I’ve only known you 3 days, we have a connection, Aly, don’t you feel it.”
Aly nodded, knowing she felt the same way that she felt so passionately about him.
“Good,” he said as he kissed her again softly.

Jason dropped Aly off at her hotel room around 6, telling her he had something to do, but to be ready by 8 for her next surprise.
“I had fun today,” she told Jason as she thought back to the day of talking and resting in his arms, “Thanks.”
“I had fun too,” Jason, said as he gave her a soft kiss, “and remember… 8 o’clock.” Jason retreated down the hall as Aly let herself into her room and sighed, wondering what this boy had in store for her next.
