Chapter 5
The music blasted at the club most of the WWF superstars were crammed into. Megan moved to the beat of the music as Jeff Hardy wrapped his arms around her. She smiled as she looked at some of the other guys around her- everyone was so good looking, especially Jeff. Jeff was such an awesome dancer; she was just having so much fun hanging out with this guy.
“Meg, what are you doing?” Jason asked pulling her away from Jeff.
“What?” Megan asked pretending to be innocent.
“What did I say about you hooking up with wrestlers?” Jason asked.
“No to…” she said raising an eyebrow, “We were just dancing, it’s not going to lead to a relationship, it’s not going to lead to sex, I mean seriously Jay. You’ve got to calm down.”
“My kid cousin comes to travel with me. I’m responsible for you,” Jason said.
“I’m not a child anymore Jay,” Megan yelled, “I’m a grown up, I’m not your teenage cousin that you can protect anymore.”
“Fine, you don’t need me,” Jason yelled back, not sure why he was getting so angry, “Don’t come crying to me next time you need something or get hurt.” He stormed off angrily, leaving Megan a little dazed.
“Whatever,” she called after him, feeling once again like a teenager. She once again wished Adam was with her, then cursed herself for even thinking that as she made her way to the bar.

“She pisses me off so bad,” Jason yelled as he stormed into his hotel room. Adam practically fell off his bed he was so startled.
“What?” Adam asked, “Who?”
“Megan,” Jason said frustrated. Adam sat up, he had just been thinking about her.
“What happened?” Adam questioned, “What did she do.”
“We were at that club and she’s all over Jeff,” Jason explained, “And when I went up to her, she yelled at me, saying that I’m too protective.”
Adam felt a pang of jealousy, but quickly fought it off. “Is she still there?” he asked.
“I think so,” Jason said, sitting on the bed and rubbing his head, “I saw her heading to the bar. She already looked a little buzzed…”
“You want me to go get her?” Adam asked.
“Would you?” Jason asked looking hopefully at his best friend.
“Sure, I’ll be back in a while,” Adam said grabbing his keys and leaving.
