Chapter 2
Amy let out a nervous breath as she stayed seated in her seat on the plane as she watched everyone else around her climbing off.
“You coming to Dallas with us?” a flight attendant asked with a laugh as Amy realized she was the last one on the plane.
“Oh, sorry,” Amy said embarrassed, standing up quickly and grabbing her carry on.
Stepping out into the terminal, she looked around anxiously. Readjusting her bag, she looked around for some familiar faces.
“Jeff! Matt!” she called raising her arms up, seeing the brothers standing feet away looking around for her.
“Amy!” Jeff called, running up and lifting her off the ground as he hugged her, “I didn’t even recognize you! You’ve grown up so much!”
“It’s so good to see you,” Amy replied, feeling relief was over her as she still hugged Jeff.
Amy smiled as Jeff pulled away and placed a quick kiss on her cheek. She looked to Jeff’s left and felt her cheeks burn red as she faced Matt for the first time in months.
“I am so glad you’re here,” Matt said awkwardly, pulling Amy into a hug.
“I am too,” Amy whispered, being in Matt’s arms like this reminded her of all the times they had together.
Matt breathed in the scent of Amy as she hugged him. Although she looked incredibly different with her new hair color and breast implants, and how much she filled out, as he hugged her, he realized it was still the same Amy he had once loved.
“Let me take that,” Matt offered, taking Amy’s carry on as their embrace ended.
“It’s ok, you don’t have to,” Amy answered.
“I want to,” Matt replied, taking her bag and smiling at her as she walked between the two brothers down the terminal.

“I am so excited to be working in the WWF,” Amy said as she leaned back in the booth of the diner they were at next to the airport.
“I’m really glad you’re getting the opportunity,” Jeff replied, “I know you’ll wow them.”
Matt nodded in agreement as he took a sip of his coffee. Looking at Amy across the booth, with her bright, infectious smile and dancing hazel eyes, he felt something he hadn’t felt in a long time.
“I just can’t wait to get into that ring,” Amy added, sipping on her coffee, “I want to see how they decide to debut me and what type of storyline they’ll put me in.”
“Ames, can I ask you a question?” Jeff asked with a mischievous smile.
“No, it didn’t hurt to get implants,” Amy answered, knowing that was the question he was about to ask, “but it did take some used to landing with them.”
Jeff’s jaw dropped as Matt tried to hide a laugh, Amy crossed her arms over her chest and smirked at Jeff.
“How did you know I was going to ask that?” Jeff asked, still surprised and wide-eyed.
“Cause you’ve been eyeballing them all night,” Amy laughed, “besides, I was sure it would come up sooner or later.”
Jeff laughed, slightly embarrassed, as Matt just smiled and looked at Amy again over the table as she sipped her coffee and continued to talk animated about how excited she was and the WWF.
He was glad Amy was getting the chance to live her dream, but even more they were living their dream together and side by side. He just hoped he had a chance of fulfilling his other dream… of another chance with her.

“You’ve had a long day,” Jeff said standing up from the extra bed in Amy’s hotel room and stretching, “I’m gonna see if I can find my brother and let you get some sleep.”
“I think he said he was going for a workout,” Amy replied, standing up, “thanks for everything Jeff.”
“I’m happy to,” Jeff said giving her a quick hug, “but can I tell you something.”
“Sure, anything,” Amy answered, placing her hands in her pockets.
“Matt hasn’t had another girlfriend since he’s come to the WWF,” Jeff said.
“Ok…” Amy replied, a confused look in her eyes.
“Just think about that ok Ames?” Jeff answered, kissing her cheek quickly, “night.”
“Night,” Amy said as she shut her hotel room door and sighed.
“Matt hasn’t had another girlfriend since he’s come to the WWF,” Amy thought as Jeff’s words played over in her mind.
Maybe there could still be something between them…
