*2 YEARS LATER*

Jason stood in front of the gravestone and placed the single rose on the grass in front of him. He wiped away a single tear as he stared at the gravestone.

“Are you Ok?” a voice behind him asked, he felt a hand on his shoulder.

He turned around and looked into the big brown eyes he was so familiar with. He smiled.

“Yeah, I think so,” he said.

“I’m really sorry about your aunt,” Gwen said touching his hand softly.

“Thanks,” he said, placing his arm around her waist and walking towards their waiting car.

He looked around the cemetery; thankful he wasn’t visiting Gwen there. That day in the hospital was the scariest of his life. The doctors didn’t think she’d pull through; she had lost so much blood during the operation…

But she had pulled through, something that surprised even the doctors, but not Jason. He knew she would make it, he never doubted it. And now she was in remission.

Jason rubbed Gwen’s fairly round stomach, “How’s baby Jay doing?” he asked.

Gwen grinned up at him, carrying Jay’s baby felt like a miracle to her. She never thought 2 years ago she’d even be alive. She nodded her head and felt tears appear in her eyes. “Good,” she whispered.

“Have I told you how much I love you lately?” Jason asked taking her hand.

“Not in the past… 2 hours,” Gwen said laughing.

“Well I love you more than anything,” Jason said, squeezing his wife’s hand, “And now we’re going to have the family we've always wanted, and live happily ever after.”

“Forever?” Gwen asked.

Jason looked down at her and smiled, “Forever.”
