Chapter 35
7:28pm later that evening before Smackdown........
Matt, Jeff, Jay, Adam, Shane, and Chris are all standing around hanging out, talking.
Matt and Jeff were laughing about something that Jeff told him about Ivory, when Matt here’s some one yell, "Angela you look so pretty! Ohh my God!" Matt looks up to see all the girls moving down the hallway- he couldn’t see her with all the other girls in the way. Matt glanced at Jeff who shrugged.
Matt was leaning against the wall, still talking to Jeff when Lita came up behind him, hitting his butt. Adam chuckled as Matt rolled his eye’s shaking his head laughing too. Jeff turned and glanced at her, "Ohh hey." He said kissing her quickly.
Lita smiled at him, "What’s up Matt?" Lita asked snuggling in Jeff’s arms.
Matt shrugged, "Not much, you?" Matt asked grinning at her.
Lita giggled, motioning Matt to look to his left. Matt looked over and saw Angela talking, and giggling with Molly and Torrie, and Trish down the hall. She looked so great! She had on a pair of dark jeans, with leather ties on the ends that laced up on both sides, and a brown, low cut tank top, and matching boots. Her hair was up in a high ponytail and she looked so hott. She was laughing and smiling and she looked like she was excited. Matt grinned. He felt his heart racing as he watched her. She was perfect.
Matt glanced back at Lita who smiled winking. Jay leaned over quickly and whispered in Matt’s ear, "Angela’s looking pretty good!" Matt smiled glancing at him.
Then Adam leaned towards him whispering, "Matt dude how hard could it be to kiss that?" Adam asked whistling playfully.
Matt rolled his eye’s chuckling. Jeff smiled at him. Jeff was wearing a green Hardy Boyz t-shirt, and he had his now blue, streaked purple hair up in ponytail tucked out the back of his purple hat.
He was whispering something to Lita and she smiled elbowing him gently giggling, then she reached up and took his hat putting it on.
Matt sighed grinning. He stretched his arms out and yawned - he was tired. Then he heard a lot of giggling and glanced down the hall, and saw Angela whispering something to Trish. Trish looked up and met Matt’s eye’s laughing, she shook her head smiling at Angela who was staring at her. They both laughed and Matt sighed.
Matt and Jay were talking about the lodge when Matt heard yelling down the hallway. He turned with Jay and saw that Torrie and Stacey were arguing like usual. He groaned, as Adam walked down toward Torrie. "You let out all that anger ladies!" Jay called as Trish threw a gum wrapper at him from about 5 feet away. Jay left Matt’s side and went to stand with her. Matt glanced at Angela who was now talking to Molly. Matt let his eye’s move over her.
Angela was laughing at Molly when she got the weirdest feeling, like someone was watching her. She glanced over toward Matt and saw his eye’s on her. She smiled, he looked so adorable. He was wearing a pair of black jeans and a dark gray silk shirt, half unbuttoned with a chain around his neck. His hair was pulled back and his smile was sweet and he looked so good!
Matt’s eye’s moved over her slowly, when his eye’s moved back towards her face he realized she was looking at him, like she could feel his eye’s on her. He smiled at her as his eye’s got lost in hers.
"Hi." She whispered silently, from down the hall, with no words coming out. Matt read her lips and grinned.
Matt smiled, "Hi." He whispered silently back. Angela bit her lip gently as Matt winked at her. She blushed watching him.
"Matt!" Jeff called. Matt startled glancing away from Angela and looked at Jeff.
"What?" Matt asked looking confused.
Jeff rolled his eye’s, "I asked you if you knew where I left my pager." Jeff said staring at Matt.
Matt sighed, "Ohh, I dunno." Matt said shrugging.
Jeff frowned, "Lita come help me look for it will ya?" Jeff asked with a worried look on his face as he walked back down towards the locker rooms. Matt sighed, Jeff was always losing things- expensive things.
Matt glanced at Chris as he laughed at Shane, who was talking about more comic book stuff -like he always does.
Matt sighed. Just then he heard Vince’s voice. Matt looked up as Vince appeared at the end of the hallway, "Angela could I see you for a few minutes please?" Vince asked smiling at Angela who was staring at him from down the hall. Matt looked over at her as she met his eye’s. She stared at him sighing. Matt grinned as he watched her follow Vince and disappear from sight. Lita and Jeff came back just as Angela left. Matt sighed as Lita looked at him.
"What does he want to see Angela for?" Jay asked looking at Matt.
Matt raised his eyebrows and stared at Jay, "How am I supposed to know?" Matt said staring at Jay.
Jay shrugged, "I just figured you’d know....." Jay said pausing as Lita spoke,
"Matt can I talk to you?" Lita asked moving away from Jeffs hold. Jeff sighed patting Matt on the shoulder as Matt walked past him. Matt walked with Lita back towards the locker rooms.
"What’s up?" Matt asked looking at her as she stopped walking.
Lita sighed, "Matt..... what are you waiting for?" Lita asked softly staring at him.
Matt watched her and then he frowned, "I dunno......... but tonight is gonna be totally romantic!" Matt said smiling at her.
Lita sighed giggling, "Ohh you’ve got to tell me!" Lita giggled.
Matt shook his head, "No I can’t say anything, but you’ll know when you see it what I’m planning to do.....!" Matt said smiling.
Lita laughed excitedly, "Ohh Matt I have a feeling this is gonna be something that Angela is gonna never forget!!!" Lita said smiling at him.
Matt smiled, "I hope so!" Matt said softly.
