Chapter 43

A few minutes later........ After Angela and Lita finished talking in the bathroom, Lita left Angela to go find Jeff.

Angela sighed as she looked out toward the dance floor and saw people laughing and dancing and having a good time. Angela sighed as she looked toward the bar and at the tables, where there were couples everywhere. Angela shrugged deciding to go find Matt so he could hold her, and so they could be together the way she liked it! She started to walk through the crowd when another song started, she stopped, listened and smiled realizing it totally summed up how she felt about Matt.....

Angela sighed, she felt so incredibly happy and she liked it, it was a feeling she didn’t want to go away, she was so excited and happy at that moment. ***

Matt was sitting at the table alone drinking his San Gria listening to this song, he grinned it was the perfect song to describe how he felt about Angela and how his heart sounded when she was near him. He smiled. Matt closed his eye’s briefly and pictured her. She was really beautiful, and he was crazy about her.

Angela was anxious to find Matt, she just wanted to be close to him. She started to walk through the crowd again, when she heard someone yell her name. Angela turned to see Trish holding Jay’s hand.

Angela smiled waving to her as she made her way over to them. "Hey, did you just get here?" Angela asked hugging her quickly.

Trish grinned, "Yeah a few minutes ago, I just saw Lita, she was excited she said your coming to the lodge with us!" Trish smiled.

Angela shook her head smiling, blushing, "Matt asked me to go......." Angela giggled as Trish gave her the thumbs up.

Angela sighed as Jay leaned over and whispered to her, "Matt’s crazy about you Angela, he thinks your awesome, he really likes you!" Jay said smiling at her. Angela bit her bottom lip gently giggling.

Trish asked Jay what he said so he told her. She smiled staring at Angela.

"Ya think?" Angela asked smiling at her.

Trish stared at her a moment and smiled shaking her head. Angela giggled excitedly. Angela sighed, "Hey umm I’m gonna go find him, we’ll hang out later?" Angela asked smiling at Trish.

"Okay." Trish said smiling at Angela as she shook her head.

"Later Jay..." Angela said smiling at him as she turned to leave. Jay grinned winking at her. Angela shook her head giggling as she walked away. ***

Angela saw Matt before he saw her. He was sitting at the table alone watching the dance floor. Angela smiled, he looked so adorable! She grinned as she walked behind the table trying to sneak up on him.

Matt sighed setting his glass down and yawning.

Angela smiled watching him. She walked slowly up behind his chair and very slowly slide her arms around him.

Matt jumped a little surprised and turned to look at Angela. He grinned touching her arm gently. "Hey." Matt said softly as Angela let go of him and came around to sit next to him.

Angela smiled at him as he took her hands. "Hi....." Angela said meeting his eye’s. His eye’s were so beautiful, the way they sparkled. Angela was so excited to be back close to him. She smiled clearing her throat, "Did I scare you?" She asked as Matt rubbed her hands.

Matt shrugged grinning, "No I was just surprised. So how’s Ruby?" Matt asked as Angela sighed.

Angela shrugged, "She’s upset, she loves Chris obviously and they just got into an argument and she hurts because she cares about him, you know......." Angela said grinning at Matt. Matt frowned shaking his head.

Angela sighed as she leaned close to him resting her head against his arm as she snuggled closer to him. Matt grinned letting go of her hand and wrapped his arm around her. "Cold?" Matt asked whispering softly.

Angela giggled smiling at him, "Yeah......" She whispered smiling. Matt chuckled as he pulled her closer. She felt warm and good being close to him. Both Matt and Angela sat silently, just being close to each other. ***

Matt and Angela had about 5 minutes to themselves before Lita, Jeff, Shane and Molly came back to the table.

Matt groaned seeing them coming. Angela smiled at him giggling. Angela hoped he was just as upset about not being alone any more then she was.

The group sat for a while talking and laughing. Matt was laughing at Shane who was trying to balance a penny on his nose when Trish came over to the table holding a drink.

"Okay, come on ladies, let’s go have some fun! Come on!!! Its dance time!" She said giggling as she set her glass down and came around taking Angela’s hand and motioning for Lita and Molly to get up. Angela giggled glancing at Matt who sighed. Angela giggled quickly touching his cheeck. "I’ll be back......" She smiled at Matt catching his eye’s. Matt grinned. He frowned watching her leave with Lita and Molly, and Trish and go out towards the dance floor.

Matt groaned taking the last sip of his drink. Jeff smiled at him, "How’s things with Angela?" Jeff asked staring at him.

Matt rubbed his forehead sighing, "Well they’d be better if she wasn’t always being pulled out to the dance floor and away from me!!!!!!!!" Matt said groaning as he set his head down in his hands and yawned. He was tired. Jeff and Shane laughed. Jeff reached over and patted Matt’s arm. "Just kiss her already!" Jeff said laughing. Matt sighed, he wanted too. He wanted to be alone with Angela, it was so nice to just spend time with her........
