Chapter 53

After about 15 minutes or so, Matt and Angela decided that they should probably get inside and go to bed. They were both tired and by then Angela was freezing, she was shivering a lot. ***

Matt unlocked the hotel room door and followed Angela inside. He closed the door behind him and clocked it. Angela had taken off her jacket and hung it up. She turned and watched as Matt threw the keys onto the table in the hall and hung up his own jacket.

Matt sighed looking up at Angela. "You want anything?" Matt asked as she followed him into the kitchen. Matt flipped the light above the sink on and leaned against the counter in front of it and looked at her. Angela was leaning in the door way. Matt got lost for a moment in the amazement of how beautiful she did look, now and all evening long. She looked exhausted, but she never stopped looking amazing.

She shrugged, "Maybe some coffee......" She said smiling at Matt who shook his head and went right to work fixing it for her.

"What are you going to have?" Angela asked a few minutes later, she was standing next to him as he was pouring the hot water into a coffee mug for her.

Matt shrugged, "I dunno if I feel like anything..." He said sighing, "So do you want milk or half & half in your coffee milady?" Matt asked glancing at her as she giggled.

"Half & half please!" Angela said giggling, as she watched as Matt went to the refrigerator and took out a small carton of half & half and opened it pouring a little into her mug. Then he grabbed a spoon from the draw and stirred the coffee gently. Then Matt picked up the cup and handed it to her.

"Thank you." Angela said smiling at Matt as she took the mug from him. Matt watched her as she blew onto the coffee a moment and then took a tiny sip of it.

Angela smiled at him as she set the mug down on the counter, "It’s nice an warm and taste’s great.....thank you." Angela said leaning over and kissing Matt’s cheek.

Matt smiled at her and sighed, reaching for her cup taking a small sip himself. "Its not that bad actually," Matt said as Angela giggled. Matt leaned over and kissed her cheek making Angela laugh. "Your welcome." Matt said staring at her. Angela smiled, and sighed.

Matt rubbed his arm as he leaned back against the counter. "I think I’m gonna go take a shower and get changed, it’s late, we need to get some sleep at least...." Matt said as Angela yawned. "You can just grab some clothes out of my bags by the door to sleep in..... you gonna be okay for a few minutes while I shower quickly?" Matt asked as he reached for her, pulling her close to him. Angela sighed hugging him.

"I’ll be fine...just hurry back that’s all...." Angela whispered kissing him softly. Matt returned her kiss gently, happy to be able too.

"I will... I swear...." Matt whispered after they finished there kiss.

"Okay." Angela said softly as she reached for her mug and watched Matt leave the kitchen, heading for the bathroom.
