(Note to readers: Okay I screwed up the day thing. I’m a ditz. The last few chapters should have taken place after Smackdown. So its Thursday night after the Smackdown. Ok any questions email me! Sorry bout’ that. Just pretend. Thanks.)
Matt saw her house from a distance, he saw a few lights on. He shivered as the wind blew around him. Matt walked up to the sidewalk infront of the house and stared at the white house with roses planted around the windows and the smell of the beach behind it. The night air made Matt thrilled to think that soon he would be inside with
Jessica, and she would be able to make him warm.
Matt sighed, he walked up to the front door and smoothed his hair down as he reached for the doorbell. Matt waited with anticipation for a moment until the light above her front door came on. Matt glanced up at the light and took a breath. He looked down just as he saw the door opening slowly.
Matt’s heart beat faster when he saw Jessica’s surprised smile. “Matt!” Jessica giggled thrilled to see him there. “Come on in!” Jessica said as she reached for Matt’s hand and pulled him inside. Matt smiled when he was inside her house and could feel the warmth around him. Matt looked up at her as she turned toward him from closing the door. She smiled as she met his eyes.
“Matt what are you doing here?” She asked as she stepped toward him.
Matt shrugged shaking his head. “I just wanted to be here...” Matt said softly sighing as he looked at her. She was wearing a cute pair of cotton pajamas with small flowers on them.
Jessica smiled at him, “That makes me happy.” She said as she touched a lock of his hair, smiling. Matt sighed watching her.
Slowly Matt pulled her into his arms and snuggled his face close to hers. She was warm and felt unbelievable to him.
Jessica cleared her throat as she reached her hand up an touched Matt’s cheek.
“Matt,” Jessica whispered kissing him gently. “What is it, I can tell, what’s wrong?” Jessica asked after she kissed him quickly.
Matt shivered. He shook his head and met her eyes again. “I just wanna stay, I need to be here...” Matt whispered holding her tight as he shivered. Matt felt weak and he knew why, he hated lying to her, he knew she was gonna be gone for a few days and then he wasn’t sure after he left how long it would be until he would see her again. Would he? The whole thought of losing her plagued him. He was scared.
Jessica sighed hugging him, she bit her lip worried about him. Every time she was with him she knew it was crazy, but she wanted to be with him all the time, never to leave his side, she sighed closing her eyes.
“Matt…” Jessica finally whispered softly, “Stay, stay as long as you want! I’d never tell you to go, I couldn’t.” Jessica said picking her head up from his shoulder and staring at him. Matt stared at her for a long time.
Now would be the perfect time tell her the truth! Matt frowned why couldn’t he just tell her, tell her what! That everything he’s ever said to her was a lie!!! Matt felt his stomach turn; he loved her that was all he knew. Matt wanted to tell her the truth, he knew he had to, but he just couldn’t. He closed his eyes briefly only to open them to the feeling of Jessica kiss across his lips. He let all his emotions go.
Her touch felt far to good to him, he had ached for it, and here it was. All the confusion, all the anger, all the happiness she’d brought him.... he let it go in that kiss.
It didn’t take very long for Matt’s jacket to end up on the floor. They stopped kissing long enough for Matt to pick Jessica up and carry her to the living room to end up on the couch in front of the warm fire. Jessica had Matt’s shirt unbuttoned in less then 20 seconds and her top was thrown to the floor. Matt stopped thinking, all he was concentrating on was the touch and smell and feeling of her lips on his.
Hours later, Matt sighed. He was holding Jessica tight against him. She was sound asleep on the living room floor next to him. The fireplace was crackling softly and Matt was warm wrapped up in a blanket with Jessica in his arms. Her skin against his felt like silk. He heard the soft sounds of her sleeping close to him.
He smiled, he wanted this to something he would fall asleep to and wake up to everyday. He closed his eyes...and she was leaving him in the morning! Matt frowned just thinking about her being away from him. He sighed as he snuggled up next to her, holding her tight. He heard her sigh. He knew she had just awaken. He watched as she rolled over facing him.
“Hey,” She said sleepily smiling at him as she leaned in and kissed Matt softly.
Matt smiled. “Hi.” He said whispering.
“You been awake long?” Jessica asked softly as she touched Matt’s cheek.
Matt smiled, “Sorta. I was just lying here watching you, Jessie how am I gonna stay sane with you all the way in New York for 3 days?!” Matt asked softly hugging her. Jessica rested her head against Matt’s bare shoulder and looked up at him.
She sighed, “Matt you’ve been sane without me for 26 years, I’m sure you can go without me for 3 days!” Jessica said softly giggling. Matt grinned at her.
He sat up a little as she rested her head back down on the pillow she had been sleeping on.
“Your sure about that?” Matt asked looking down at her.
She giggled shrugging. “I dunno, I know that it won’t be easy for me to leave you, maybe before this it wouldn’t have been so hard, but now, I’m dreading it...” Jessica said watching as Matt smiled.
“I know I feel the same way, I hate knowing in a few hours your gonna be leaving me,” Matt said looking at her. She sighed. Matt stared at her, there were a million things that he wanted to say, they just wouldn’t come out.
