Chapter 25
Matt had caught me off guard and I couldn't refuse the apologetic kiss. Matt finally let go and looked at me with hurt eyes,
"Maria, I am sorry..."His voice trailed off and I put a finger to his lips.
"Shh, it's okay, I understand, you don't have to explain, your kiss just explained everything..." I quieted myself and kissed him again.

"Amy, are you okay?" Jeff after a few moments of Amy's silence.
She still had her arms wrapped around his neck, and Jeff's neck was wet from her tears. She nodded and looked up at him through blurry eyes. Jeff reached up and took her baseball cap off of her head, letting her long red hair flow around her face.
"It's going to be okay..." He whispered and pulled her in closer.
She smiled at him and pulled him for another sweet kiss. Suddenly out of nowhere, it started to pour. Jeff and Amy were in mid kiss as they got doused with water.
"What is this?!" Amy looked up through the water.
"Summer shower, they come in real fast, come on let's get back to the motel!" Jeff said, not wasting any time.
He grabbed his socks and shoes in one hand and grabbed Amy's hand with other one . The two took off running through the water back to us. We had been under the overhang when it started to pour, but I pulled Matt out into it and whirled around with him. The two of us cracked up, splashing each other. Just then Amy and Jeff came running and saw us in the parking lot dancing in the rain.
"Hey, where have you two been?!" I called, noticing that neither of them were wearing shoes.
Jeff smiled and put his arm around Amy, gently kissing her in front of us. My mouth dropped in shock. Amy let go of Jeff and began splashing Matt. I pulled Jeff aside, "I knew you could do it." I said with a quick hug.
"Not so bad yourself." Jeff gestured to Matt.
"Four of us?! What are we going to do?!" Jeff laughed and splashed me with the water that was falling from the heavens.
