"I can’t believe she just left, without even saying good bye... why did she do this to me?" Matt sat with his head in his hands, once again positioned on his bed.
"I don’t know Matt, I just don’t know." Jeff sat on one side of him, patting his back.
"I love her, Jeff, I really do, I want her back, I want to make things work between us, because I know she was not put in my life for nothing, we have a purpose and I know we were meant to be together." Matt said, lifting his head.
"I believe you Matt, but you need to be telling her these things, not me. C’mon we have to get to the airport, we are leaving in an hour and you are not packed yet." Jeff told him.
"Jeff, where are we going again, I don’t even remember..." Matt’s voice trailed off.
"Well, first we are stopping in Maryland for a three day event, then we are heading to New Jersey, then finally in two weeks we are heading to Penn State and Philadelphia." Jeff flipped through his schedule.
"Philly, Maria lives near there! When we get there I am going to drive to her house and have a talk with her, I just can’t see ending it like this."
"Matt, no, you are not going near her, she broke your heart once, don’t let her do it again. If she wants you back, she will come for you." Jeff scolded him.
"Jeff you can do all in your power, but you are not going to keep me from her, I don’t care how hard you try." Matt replied coldly; walking away.
