Chapter 5
"Out of all nights, it just had to be foggy tonight." said Jericho.
"Man, I hope we find Terri. There's no telling what could've happened to her." said Matt.
"To tell you the truth, our best bet is to split up. These woods are kind of big." Raven said.
"That's a great idea. How about I search the lake, Matt, you search the entrance where we came in, and Raven, you search around our cabin. I doubt she got far." said Jericho.
The three split up and set upon their missions.

Meanwhile, back at the cabin...
"Do you have any idea how nervous I am right now?" asked Shane. "What's wrong?" Lita asked. "
Oh, nothing...it's just that I feel a power around here, like a force." he said.
"Who? The Green Lantern?" asked Monica, sarcastically.
"No, I'm serious. I've heard some really freaky stuff about this place." he said. Everyone stared in silence at his face. "I'm sure you've all heard about the gruesome murders that were committed here years ago, right?" They all nodded. "Well, supposedly the police caught the killer and shot him to death while he tried to escape. He was a young guy around the same age as the people he murdered. But legend has it that the killer didn't really die. My uncle told me that there have been stories of people who stayed in these very woods for summer vacations and left just as soon as they came. They experienced some supernatural happenings or whatever. My uncle also heard a story about the killer actually being alive and still lurking around these woods." he said.
"Will you shut up? You're scaring the hell out of me. That isn't exactly the kind of thing I'd like to imagine right now." said Trish.
"Look, that's what I heard. All I'm saying is that we shouldn't expect the guys to bring back what you're looking for." Shane said.
"Stop it!! Don't jinx the situation!!" said Monica.
"Hey, maybe he's right. I mean, he makes sense." said Jeff, sitting up in bed.
"What?! You BUY that crap? Oh, what am I saying? You always were weird anyway." said Monica.

Jericho was wandering around the lake, looking for anything that could be linked to Terri's disappearance.
"Man, this is stupid. I'm missing out on my beauty rest for this. And for Terri of all people, that ass-clown! Actually, make that a dirty, disgusting, trashbag ---" Jericho was suddenly interrupted by a bubbling noise in the lake. "What the hell?" He walked closer to it. "What is that?" Suddenly, a huge figure flew out of the water and pulled him in.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Jericho screamed. In one hand, the figure held an ax, and in the other, the decayed, frozen body of Terri Runnels. Before Jericho could take this all in, his whole world went black............
