Chapter 10
Meredith and Jeff went into the back yard and started setting up the tables and chairs. As they were setting up the food, guests started to show up. When the BBQ actually started is when Meredith started enjoying herself. Jeff's family was nice and they imediatley welcomed her with arms wide open. Since she didnt really have any other family but her dad and mom she felt happy. People from their school showed up too. Alex came with Randy, Carmen and her sister Ashley (Matt's g/f) came with Shane. they were all about to get in the pool when Ali and Kassi showed up. They both walked over to the group and smirked. Kassi went up tp Jeff and rubbed a hand down his bare cheast. Meredith glared at her, she didn't dare fight with Kassi here.
"I can't believe you went from me to her." Kassi said.
"I can't believe I even went with you." Jeff shot at her.
"You're going to wish you never came here Meredith. As for you Jeff, you know you still want me." Kassi said.
"Kassi you're going to wish you never messed with me." Meredith said pouring a bucket of cold water over Kassi. Kassi screamed. "As for Jeff, back off. He's MINE!" Ali helped Kassi back to her car and they left.
"Way to go Mer!" Shane said giving her a high five.
"So I'm yours?" Jeff asked wrapping his arms around Meredith.
"Ofcourse." she replied kissing him. They soon got in the pool and decided to play chicken. Meredith on Jeff's shoulders, Alex on Randy's, Carmen on Shane, and Ashley on Matt's shoulders. Meredith got Alex out and Carmen got Ashley out. Meredith and Carmen went at it and Carmen eventually got Meredith out.
"Damn you're strong!" Meredith said to Carmen.
"I know." They played a couple more rounds of chicken and then they decided to eat around six. They chatted while they ate and chat some more after they ate. When people started to leave is when Meredith and Jeff decided to have some of their own fun!
