Chapter 14
Beth's warning: drug use
The weeks went by and Jeff and Meredith were getting very close. They spent all their time together. Except when Jeff had to work. The only bad thing was that Meredith's dad started beating her more often. Finally April came and prom was coming up in May.
"You guys guess what day it is today?" Randy said sitting at their lunch table.
"Friday?" Meredith guessed.
"Yeah and it's 4:20!" Randy announced.
"Yeah so?" Jeff asked.
"4:20 right time to get high!" Randy said.
"Well, do you even have any weed?" Shane asked.
"Are you going to hook us up?" Carmen asked also.
"Yeah yeah meet me on the other side of make out point. Alex you in?" Randy asked.
"Sure. What about you guys?" Alex asked pointing to Meredith and Jeff.
"Sure." They both said. After school they took Jeff's black Jeep Wrangler sport to make out point.
"So have you ever gotten high before?" Jeff asked.
"Yeah once. I felt like I was going to barff though. What about you?" Meredith asked.
"Nope." They got out of the car and met Randy, Alex, Carmen, and Shane. They found a place in the woods and got ready.
"So who's going to get the first hit?" Randy asked filling the bowl.
"I will." Meredith volunteered. She help the pipe to her mouth and lit it. She inhaled it and kept it in then finally exhaled.
"You've done this before, haven't you?" Randy asked taking the next hit. Meredith nodded yes. After everyone took about five hits, they were totally high.
"Is the sky supposed to be moving?" Alex asked from the ground.
"I don't know. Look at the moon, it looks like a cookie." Carmen replied laying next to Alex.
"Jeff's been to the moon. He took a bit of it too. Right Jeff?" Meredith asked.
"Yeah it was cool. I have to pee." Jeff said getting up.
"I can pee in a toilet. I have been since I was.....I was eight." Shane said trying to count on his fingers. Randy bursted into a fit of giggles. When Jeff returned everyone was laughing their heads off.
"Am I supposed to be this hungry. Cause I am." Alex said rubbing her tummy.
"She's got the munchies!" Meredith yelled.
"Let's goooooooo to Taco Bell!" Shane said getting up. When they got to Taco Bell all the boys went to the bathroom and the girls ordered.
"Um we'll have six hard shell tacos and six hard shell tacos." Meredith said leaning on the counter.
"You mean six hard and six soft?" the guy asked.
"that's what I said." Meredith said smiling. "Duh!"
"Anything to drink?" he asked smiling back.
"Six LARGE drinks." Meredith replied almost yelling.
"Okay for here or to go?"
"For here of course." Meredith said jumping.
"Okay your total is 15.32" he said. Meredith gave him a 20.
"Keep the change. What's you name? I'm Meredith, aren't I sexy? I know!" she asked rambling.
"My name is Tim and yeah you're pretty hot. Listen maybe I could get your number and...." Tim started.
"What the fuck do you think you're doing?" Jeff yelled walking up to him. "Are you hitting on my girlfriend?"
"Hey man I didn't know she had a boyfriend."
"Jeffy it's okay. You're my man FOREVER AND ALWAYS!" Meredith said collapsing into Jeff's arms. They got their food and sat down to eat.
