The next couple of weeks went by and Meredith would disappear for about an hour and then come back all strange. Jeff thought Meredith was up to something...bad. So they soon started to drift. Barely spending any time together. It was tearing Jeff up inside though.
"I can't wait until tonight!" Carmen squealed.
"Why?" Meredith asked stupidly.
"Duh PROM! What's with you? You and Jeff are going right?" Alex asked.
"Yeah I think so. I was wondering why I had a dress in my room!" Meredith said laughing. Carmen and Alex gave her a weird look.
"Meredith." Jeff said walking up to them.
"Yeah?"
"Can I talk to you?"
"Yeah sure. I'll talk to you later girls."
"Meredith I can't go to prom with you."
"What, why not?"
"I have a wrestling match. I can't miss it there are going to be scouts there. Please don't be mad."
"It's okay. I know how much it means to you. I'll just return my dress and get my money back."
"How about you come to my wrestling match and then later we'll do something, okay?"
"Yeah all right. I'll see you then."
"Meredith where are you going?"
"Oh...well...I was just going to go home quick." Meredith said unlocking her door.
"Can I come with?"
"Um, I don't think so. I'll call you." Meredith said before driving away. Jeff got in his Jeep and followed her. Meredith wasn't going home she was going to make out point. She parked and headed towards the woods. Jeff parked after she was in the woods and followed her into the woods. His eyes almost popped out when he seen her.
