Chapter 19
After the show they went to Jeff's house. They got to his house and Jeff told Meredith to wait in the car. After about 30 minutes Jeff came back ready for Meredith to come in. Meredith didn't expect what she saw. he living room was decorated with white Christmas lights and music was playing. And there on the couch was her prom dress.
"Jeff!" Meredith gasped "How did you get this?"
"Well, when I was talking to your Mom, she said she hadn't gotten around to returning your prom dress. So I figured we could have our own little prom."Jeff said. Meredith ran to him and gave him a huge hug.
"This is the nicest thing anyone's ever done for me!" Meredith said almost crying.
"Well, go put it on, I'll put on my tux." Jeff said.
After about thirty minutes Meredith was ready to come out. Her was a black two piece set. The top was a V-neck, with thin dress straps, it also had Rhine stones all over it and tied up in the back. The skirt was long and puffy, it also had Rhine stones all over it. She also had black elbow length gloves and black strapie sandals. Her hair was in a messy bun and had little strands coming down. When she came out Jeff's jaw dropped. Jeff was wearing the usual type of tux but instead of a white shirt it was a shiny blue one. He looked as good as Meredith did.
"Wow.... you look...." Jeff said struggling for words.
"Oh my gosh Jeff Hardy is speechless!" Meredith giggled.
"Shall we dance?" Jeff asked, Meredith nodded.
