"I'll come pick you up at 7:00, okay?" Alex said.
"Yep.Bye!" Meredith said after giving Alex directions to her house.
----At Home----
"Mom I'm going out tonight." Meredith said
"I take it you made some friends?" she said.
"Of course. I'm going to the movies, I'm leaving around 7:00. I'll probably
be back around 10 or 11, okay?" Meredith said.
"I guess." Her Mom said. Meredith decided to take a nap before getting ready.
She woke up two hours later. She took a shower and put on her clothes. She
was wearing tight blue flares with a black baby tee. She put her hair up in
a high ponytail and did her make up. She put some bracelets on, a thumb ring,
and a black choker to finish off the outfit. She put on her white Sketchers
and headed down stairs.
"Meredith what are you wearing?" her dad asked sternly.
"Clothes?"
"You look like a slut!" he said.
"Dad!"
"Sam, she doesn't look like a slut." Her Mom said.
"Sue, you can see her stomach!" Sam said.
"Dad your over reacting!" Meredith said. There was a knock on the door and
Meredith said bye quickly.
"Wow you look so cute Alex!" Meredith said getting into Alex's car.
"Thanks, do you think Randy will like it?" Alex said looking down at herself.
She was wearing emerald green flares with a black hulter top.
"Yeah. So does Jeff....does he have a girlfriend?" Meredith asked.
"Um sorta. He has been hanging out with Kassi a lot lately." Alex said
pulling out of the drive way.
"Oh......" Meredith said looking down.
"You like him!"
"I don't like him! I just met him." Meredith said getting a bit defensive.
"Well, Chad likes you and you two just met." Alex said.
"Chad likes me?" Meredith said. Alex nodded. "Well, a least he is hot!"
They arrived at the movie theater and met up with the rest of the
group. Chad's mouth dropped when he saw Meredith, so did Jeff's.
"Where's Kassi?" Alex asked looking around.
"She isn't here. She is kind of pissed." Shane whispered.
"Jeff broke up with her. We think it's cause he wants Meredith. He won't shut
up about her." He continued.
"Wow, I think she likes him too." Alex said. "We should do something about
it." a smile going a crossed her face as she talked.
"So Meredith what movie do you want to watch?" Carmen asked.
"I don't care. Carmen what are you looking at?" Meredith asked.
"Shane. He is so hot." She replied.
"Yeah he's cute, you like him?" Meredith said smiling.
"Yeah don't say anything tough." Carmen said.
"I won't. Hey look the line is short now. Let's go get our tickets." Meredith
said. They all got in line and paid for their tickets. They sat in the very
back row in the theater. Carmen sat at the end then Shane followed by Ali,
Randy, Alex, Chad, Meredith, and Jeff. During the movie Jeff slipped his arm
around Meredith. Meredith responded by resting her head on his shoulder. They
stayed that way for the rest of the movie.
