Chapter 8
When they got to Jeff's house he invited Meredith in for something to drink.
"I'm home." Jeff announced. He walked inside holding Meredith's hand.
"Nobody cares!" a cocky voice responded.
"Shut up."
"Who was that?" Meredith whispered.
"That's Matt my older brother. You don't need to meet him." Jeff said.
"Excuse me, Jeff she does need to know me. Hi I'm Matt, Jeff's wiser and much more good looking brother." Matt said extending his hand.
"Meredith, the new girl in town." Meredith said shaking his hand.
"Ah, Meredith....." Matt started but Jeff shot him a don't say anything look. "Um what a lovely name." He said kissing her hand.
"Hey! Quit mackin' on her. You have your own girl." Jeff said taking Meredith's hand. "Come on. I'll give you a tour."
"Nice meeting you Meredith."
"Charmed I'm sure." she answered laughing.
"And this is my room." Jeff said turning on the light.
"Your bed feels like feathers." Meredith said touching it. She laid on the bed on her back. Jeff came next to her and tried to kiss her. Meredith sat up right when Jeff came down to kiss her, so his head hit the bed.
"Why don't you show me the back yard." She said standing up. Jeff got up slowly and showed her to the back yard.
"Wow you have a trampoline. I always wanted one of these. Why does it look like a wrestling ring?" Meredith asked walking around it.
"Because Matt and I go to wrestling school so we practice on this." Jeff said proudly. "Want to jump on it?"
"Yeah!!!" Meredith replied taking off her shoes. They jumped for a while and Jeff showed Meredith some wrestling moves.
"Wow. That would be so cool if you became a wrestler." Meredith said laying down on the tramp, looking up at the stars. She was very tired
"Yeah it would." Jeff said laying down next to her.
"Hey when you're famous WWF Superstar, promise you won't forget me?" Meredith asked half joking half for real. Jeff sat up and looked at her.
"I could never forget someone like you." He said kissing her. He pulled back and smiled. Meredith tried to fight it but she couldn't. She wrapped her arm around his neck and kissed him.
