Description
After being driven from their home, the Freeling family have moved to Diane's parent's house, where once again, they are 'molested' by the evil spirit of Kane - a 19th century preacher who beleived the end of the world was coming, so he trapped hundreds of people in a cave, where they starved to death. Kane once again seeks Carol Anne who can take him into the light, but strangely enough, the family doesn't particularly like being threatened by a crazy ghost. Poltergeist 2 is much better than the other 2 in the series, and Kane really gives the film a presence of evil. Most of the original characters return, including Tangina and the entire Freeling Family, and the new characters such as Taylor the Indian are all welcome additions. The highlights include Robbie having his braces 'grow' from his mouth and encase him to the ceiling, and Kane's marvelous singing voice.
