God`s Little Angels

God gave me four little angels, I loved them as they grew. They taught me so much, That I never knew. I hugged and kissed them, And took their pain away. But now it`s time to let them, Spread their wings and fly away.

I look back on all those years, And I could only pray, That I still had my angels, Beneath my wings to stay.

I guess when God gave them to us, We already knew. That we would have to let them go Like parents always do.
