This is just my attempt to share my testimony. I actually wrote it for my
family quite a few years ago and made copies to give to them. Now I'd like to
share it with you.

It's honest and true.

I pray that it will be a source of encouragement and maybe a signpost
leading some to "THE LIGHT".

JESUS IS THE LIGHT

Where do I begin...

March 12, 1993 .... There are a lot of false religions...There are a lot of
false Messiahs. The BIBLE warns us of them. Unfortunately, these days,
all you hear about in the news are the kooks, the crazies, the false
prophets, the fanatics, and the liars and the cheats! People who use "God"
to do sick things. People who abuse their own children and say they are
Christians, (they are NOT), and then murder someone. People who use
the BIBLE in wrong ways. They do not follow JESUS CHRIST or the
BIBLE.

THEY ARE SICK...MISGUIDED...MISLED...THEY ARE WRONG!

Do you want to know the TRUTH? You can!! I'm not talking about some
cult. I'm talking about the "REAL THING". Do you want to know what I
know? I hope so. I hope you haven't been frightened off by what you've
heard about Christianity. Check it out yourself. True Christianity is not
like what you've heard about in the movies or on TV. And it's not just for
"some" people. It's for everyone! Yes...even YOU!!! Without it you are
LOST. Please...read this whole thing. Give it a chance. Sit quietly...alone...

OK...LET'S BACK UP HERE A BIT...

Christmas 1991 .... The most important part of Christmas is the first six
letters. Christmas is when the Son of God became the Son of man, so that
the sons of men could become sons of God.

God gave us the GREATEST GIFT of all...His Son...Jesus.

Salvation is a FREE GIFT- but it's not yours until you receive it.

That's the most important message I've ever heard. I would LOVE to
share it with my family and friends, but how? As far as I know, none of
them know JESUS as LORD and SAVIOR. None of them think they need
to hear about this. How can I share what I have found? If I had found the
so-called fountain of youth, they would be eager to hear all about where
to go and how to use it. BUT...what I have found is SO MUCH MORE
WONDERFUL than that! But I don't know how to share "Him" without
turning them off. LORD...help me.

NEW BEGINNINGS

Christmas 1989 .... was a turning point for me. I had been reading the
BIBLE that fall for the first time in my life. It was a BIBLE that my friend
Donna had given to our oldest daughter, Sherry, for Christmas when she
was about 12 years old, but no one had ever read it. I picked it up out of
curiosity one day and found it easy to read, (to my surprise), because it
was in modern language. I understood it but it didn't have great meaning
for me.

My first husband Joe and our youngest daughter Jeanne and I had been
watching the "JESUS" movie around that time, so that helped shine a
light on what HIS sacrifice really was. The pain and suffering JESUS
went through on the cross...all because HE LOVED US. He was
INNOCENT, but HE DIED for OUR sins...... But it still didn't hit me....It
was so long ago...What possible significance could it have today?....After
all...MEN wrote the BIBLE...not GOD...right? WRONG!!! wrong!!!
WRONG!!!

Anyway....that Christmas Donna gave me my own BIBLE, a Living
BIBLE. That just means it is para-phrased in today's English. All of
JESUS' words are in red so it is easy to see when it is JESUS
speaking....Donna also gave us a concordance with Hebrew and Greek
dictionaries of the BIBLE and a video of a Christian comedian....Well, Joe
and I were embarrassed to receive these gifts....We thought we'd NEVER
use them....What did we want with such RELIGIOUS things? We didn't
need that kind of stuff....After all...we never robbed a bank or killed
anyone. We were "nice people"...."good people"....We loved our families
and always tried to DO GOOD. Surely GOD knows we are "nice"....Surely
we will go to HEAVEN when we die, because GOD knows we want to. And
don't we DESERVE it? We certainly don't deserve HELL. I mean, there
are a "lot worse people" than us. HE knows I DON'T HAVE THE TIME to
get into this stuff....Besides...."RELIGION" is for "old people" and
kids....Not for me. (excuses) I thought I could READ HIS MIND instead
of READING HIS WORD....And it is HIS WORD...Yes men (and maybe
some women) WROTE the BIBLE...but...they were under the
INSPIRATION of GOD'S HOLY SPIRIT. The Catholic church and most
Prostestant churches believe this....So if we BELIEVE this, then the
BIBLE is....in actuality....the very WORD OF GOD!....Isn't that
AWESOME?!!! How do I know that the BIBLE was inspired by the HOLY
SPIRIT? Here is a brief study on why BELIEVERS say the BIBLE is the
WORD OF GOD.

The Old Testament writers affirmed that they were speaking the WORD
of GOD and not the word of man. "Thus says the Lord", or an equivalent,
is found more than 2,000 times in the O.T. (2Sam.23:1-3; Isa.8:1,11;
Jer.1:9,5:14; 7:27; 13:12; Ezek.3:4; Mic.5:10; Hab.2:2; etc.

The Apostles regarded the whole of SCRIPTURE as the infallible WORD
of GOD. (2Tim.3:16; 2Peter 1:21; 1Cor.14:37; 1 Thes.2"13; Gal.1:11-12)

JESUS CHRIST unqualifiedly endorsed the SCRIPTURES as the inspired
WORD of GOD.(Jn.10:35; Mat.5:18; etc.)

Fulfilled prophecy unmistakably demonstrates the authoritativeness of
SCRIPTURE. (Duet.28:63-65; 28:37; Lk.21:24; Nah.3:1, 4-6;
Zeph.2:13,14; Isa.13:19-22; Jer.51:37; Ezek.29:15, 30:6; Jer.46: 19-20)

Archaeology confirms the accuracy of SCRIPTURE.

The pragmatic test....the FACT that it PERFORMS what it
PROMISES, (that it works in actual human experiences in response to
FAITH), also shows the BIBLE to be the WORD of GOD. (Jn.7:17)

Now a word about the inerrancy of SCRIPTURE. That just means it is
without error. It is infallible.

First...The science of textual criticism (the experts) has assured us, by
the estimates of competent scholars, that our present texts (Greek &
Hebrew) are without errors of significance. The text we work with is
therefore trustworthy.

Second...Who is to decide what part of the SCRIPTURE is true and what
part is false? The SCRIPTURES claim to DIVINE AUTHORITY is lost
when we subject them to the rationalistic appraisals of men.

GOD...by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT...so prepared the authors of
HIS WORD...that they were able to write precisely what HE
intended....Since GOD is HIMSELF free from error, which is clear in
these SCRIPTURES: (Psalm31:5; 100:5; Jn.7:20, 8:26; Rom.3:4;
Cor.1:18; 1John 4:6, 5:20; Rev.6:10) and since HE has chosen man as the
vehicle through which HE would disclose HIS TRUTH, it is wholly
consistent that HE should conduct the process of providing SCRIPTURE
so as to avoid all error, and wholly in-consistent if any part it should be in
error....In plain English...it would NOT MAKE SENSE if GOD...who is
PERFECT...would allow any error in "HIS WORD".

So....how do I convey this TRUTH to my family and friends? I must
remember that it is the job of the HOLY SPIRIT to convince them. But I
can pray that their hearts will be softened and that they be given new
eyes and ears to see and hear GOD'S TRUTH....I want so much to
witness for the LORD, but I can't seem to open my mouth to my closet
relatives....I guess I am afraid of REJECTION....I did share my BORN
AGAIN experience with my old friend, Janice....but that was easy
because it was over the phone for one thing, and we hadn't seen each
other in a couple of years, and probably wouldn't see each other very
soon. So I guess I wasn't worried about being rejected by her but if she
never called again it wouldn't hurt as much as loosing my family. (but it
would hurt somewhat)....But with my "family"...it is much harder...and
they are very important to me...to share this news of ...ETERNAL
LIFE....I am sure they believe they will go to HEAVEN simply because
they have not robbed or killed anyone....But what they DON'T REALIZE
is...that WE ARE ALL SINNERS! But we can be:

FORGIVEN

Awareness of our SINFUL NATURE: Romans 3:23- Since all have sinned
and fall short of the glory of GOD; Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is
death, but the FREE GIFT of GOD is ETERNAL LIFE in CHRIST JESUS
our LORD.

Belief in JESUS CHRIST: Romans 10:9- if you confess with your lips that
JESUS is LORD and BELIEVE in your heart that GOD raised HIM from
the dead, YOU WILL BE SAVED.

REPENTANCE of SINS: 1John1:19- If we confess our sins, HE is
FAITHFUL and JUST, and will FORGIVE our sins and cleanse us from
all unrighteousness.

Anyway, how can I tell them about their NEED for a SAVIOR? Before I
was BORN AGAIN...I wouldn't have listened to anyone who tried to tell
me about JESUS. I thought I already knew all I needed to know about
JESUS. I remember feeling very uncomfortable at the mere mention of
HIS NAME.

I remember Joe, (my ex-husband) watching the 700Club, and I asked him why he was
watching that show. We thought of Pat Robertson as "the enemy". I
believed he was a faker, a liar, a crook who just wanted to rip-off little old
ladies. and the way he prayed on TV....I mean...he closed his eyes and
prayed to JESUS right out loud....in front of everyone! And he even
invited people to join him in prayer! Wow! What a kook! ( I
thought)....Then I found out that Pat Robertson has a personal
relationship with JESUS CHRIST, and that's why he could talk to HIM.

I learned that I couldn't judge all CHRISTIANS by the things that some,
like Jim Baker, had done. Even if Pat Robertson or any others should fall,
I place MY TRUST in JESUS ALONE.
 

BORN AGAIN

I always thought the expression "BORN AGAIN" was made up by some
Kooky people who just needed that kind of thing. Then I read in the
BIBLE...John 3:3- "Truly, truly I say to you, unless one is born again he
cannot see the KINGDOM of GOD." Now that was JESUS speaking to
Nicodemus. Continue to read this paragraph in the BIBLE....JESUS goes
on to explain that being BORN AGAIN is a spiritual birth....in verse 6
JESUS says, "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is
born of the SPIRIT is spirit."

We must be

BORN AGAIN

...in order to enter the KINGDOM of HEAVEN....JESUS said so! And I
truly believe HIM....But you ask...."how does one become BORN
AGAIN?"....Well, I'm not an expert....I'm still young, "spiritually
speaking"....but....you must first be aware of your sinful nature...and turn
from your sins (REPENT) and turn TOWARD JESUS! ....You must
BELIEVE IN HIM....Who HE is....and that HE DIED for YOUR
SINS....you need to ask HIM into your HEART. HE will come in if you ask
HIM to....and you will be BORN AGAIN!....You will become a NEW
CREATION....having NEW EYES to see and NEW EARS to hear.


Jesus is waiting with His arms open wide...what will you decide?


Spring 1990 .... I remember suddenly one day, I was upstairs listening to
some music. Keith Green singing "Your Love Broke Through"....and
listening to the words...I heard them with "NEW EARS". The lyric goes:
"You pulled away the clouds that hung like curtains on my eyes. Now I
see the answer was as EASY as just asking You in. Like waking up from
the longest dream...how real it seemed...until Your love broke through".
WOW!! It blew me away! I finally understood the words in that song....I
FELT them....I felt I was "in love" with JESUS. I knew then that I was
BORN AGAIN! And ever since that day I have had JESUS in my HEART,
because I "asked HIM in".


Right about now you are probably saying to yourself, "she's crazy"..."poor
woman"...She's a little strange....But you know what??? It's OK...I
understand. in fact, I would feel the same way. As a matter of fact, I did!!!
before...but please continue to read....My eyes have been opened....I feel
as though I have been given NEW EYES & EARS. They are very
sensitive to things which GOD considers wrong....The world doesn't
believe in SIN anymore....it's a joke! It doesn't believe in Satan...he's
become a joke!....BUT...the BIBLE tells us everything that GOD wants us
to know. We need to READ the BIBLE daily. It is GOD talking to us!
DON'T YOU WANT TO HEAR WHAT "HE" HAS TO SAY TO YOU? And
we need to spend time in prayer every day. That's us talking to GOD. It
is really easy....HE is our FATHER....so just talk to HIM as you would to
your parent. HE only wants THE BEST for us.

John 14:6 (Jesus said) "I am THE WAY and THE TRUTH and THE
LIFE.". Without JESUS there is NO WAY to get to HEAVEN. HE is the
ONLY WAY. Receive Gods FREE GIFT....HIS SON...

Believes in HIM

SHOULD NOT PERISH...BUT HAVE

Everlasting Life!

john 3:16

This is the ONLY way to HEAVEN. And the alternative is HELL.

The BIBLE talks about HELL as THE ETERNAL FIRE prepared for the
devil and his angels....Matthew 25:31....ETERNAL DEATH or
EVERLASTING PUNISHMENT is the unavoidable consequences of
UN-FORGIVEN SIN....Matt.25:46, Rom.6:16, 21, 23, 8:13....It differs
from the "physical death" which everyone must endure.. It assumes it's
final and most terrible form at the LAST JUDGMENT..Rev.20:12
CHRIST himself says of HELL that it is a place "where the worm does not
die, and the fire is not quenched"...Mark 9:48....And CHRIST ALONE is
the way of escape....John 3:16; 8:51...Acts 4:12

How can I tell my family that they NEED to ask JESUS into their hearts?
That they need forgiveness of their sins....they probably don't even think
they have any sins....Of all of them, my brother knows at least SOME of
the BIBLE...but he said he isn't READY to make a commitment. I guess
he is afraid of having to give up something....If he ONLY KNEW! You gain
EVERYTHING! INNER PEACE that lasts.

KNOW JESUS....KNOW PEACE.

no Jesus...no peace. It's that simple, and it's TRUE.
 

It is NEVER too EARLY to receive CHRIST...but...at any moment it could
be TOO LATE....We don't know WHEN we will die...only that we will.

Satan is a liar and the father of lies...he is a deceiver...he fills peoples
hearts and minds with DOUBT and FEAR. But we can resist the devil and
he will flee. James 4:7.... He is our adversary, prowling like a lion, looking
for those he can devour...1Peter 5:8....BUT with JESUS we have the
POWER to REBUKE Satan. JESUS paid a high price for us. HIS LIFE...
HE bought us with HIS BLOOD!

I remember when that didn't make any sense to me at all. BUT by the
GRACE of GOD, I understand it now. I just wish I could make others
understand it. Not just MY FAMILY...but EVERYONE I know! Because
GOD LOVES EVERYONE the same. HE wants ALL OF US to BE SAVED!

"WHY DOES IT MAKE SENSE TO BELIEVE IN CHRIST?"

A Reasonable Explanation: Christ and the Bible offer answers to the key
questions of life: where we came from, why there is evil in the world, why
people search for God, and our purpose for living.

A Reliable Book: The Bible is historically reliable, accurately preserved,
prophetically true, consistent within, and it's message is powerful.

A Credible Leader: Jesus' life was sinless. His deeds were miraculous. His
teachings are profound. His death and resurrection are historical facts.

A Powerful Movement: Christ's disciples would not have risked their lives
for what they knew to be a lie. The church's continued existence and
impact on society demonstrate God's power.

A Personal Experience: Those who have put their trust in Christ as
Savior have found the experience to be life changing and richly fulfilling.

CHRISTIANITY works because JESUS spoke the TRUTH.... I am THE
WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE. No one comes to the FATHER
except THROUGH ME. John 14:6

If you who are reading this, want to know more about JESUS CHRIST,
read in the New Testament one of the GOSPELS, such as JOHN. It's a
good place to start. Ask GOD to help you find the TRUTH about JESUS.
Read for YOURSELF what people thought of HIM, who HE claimed to be,
and what HE did on earth, and what HE can do for YOU! Then...take a
STEP OF FAITH...a step based on good reason...and tell JESUS that you
BELIEVE in HIM. But remember, BELIEF is more than just mentally
acknowledging the TRUTH that JESUS died and rose from the grave for
your sins. BELIEF involves entrusting your SOUL to CHRIST. Personally
accepting the FREE GIFT of SALVATION...Ephesians 2:8,9

It makes
SENSE to BELIEVE.


How do I go about sharing all this with my unsaved family and friends? I
want them all to be saved. And the ONLY WAY is through belief in
JESUS CHRIST.. That is why I am writing this. I hope and pray that each
one of my family members and friends (and now you) will read these
pages. And I pray in JESUS name for the ANOINTING of the HOLY
SPIRIT upon these pages... that whoever reads this will be somehow
touched by the SPIRIT of GOD and humble themselves before the LORD
and ask HIS FORGIVENESS & MERCY.... Now, I KNOW I have LOST
some of you at this point...You are now uncomfortable to even be around
me. I KNOW because I was where you are. But I must risk loosing you.

I hope you are not offended as you read this. I am no better than you. I
used to LOVE the world and the things of the world. I thought
RELIGION was boring and old-fashioned. But I am Not talking about
RELIGION... I am talking about JESUS CHRIST, God's own SON. HIS
BLOOD was shed for us. There is no forgiveness of sin without the
shedding of blood.


I have been afraid to verbalize my feelings and beliefs. Afraid of rejection
by my family. I LOVE them and don't want to loose them. But I have to
risk loosing them by letting them read this. I want you all to read this
because this may be the ONLY time you ever HEAR the message of the
GOSPEL. And your SALVATION is SO VERY IMPORTANT to me...I'll
risk loosing your love.


My life is FAR from perfect. I still loose my temper (though less often),
but when I do, I pray for patience and forgiveness. And the LORD really HELPS me.
You see, HE is REAL. And HE lives in me through the indwelling of the HOLY
SPIRIT. If some of these expressions and facts sound confusing, I am
sorry. I don't mean to confuse you...only enlighten you...for your own
sake.

Before I became a CHRISTIAN, (that sounds strange because I always
thought I was a CHRISTIAN simply because I was raised a Catholic), I
would not have wanted to listen to anyone talk about JESUS. I would feel
very uncomfortable at the mere mention of HIS NAME. And I never
knew I needed to hear HIS message. I thought I knew everything that
was important. But I was wrong!! So Very Wrong!! And
I didn't know it. But now that I know the TRUTH....I have to
share it.

One of the most common excuses I have heard for people not believing in
the BIBLE as the WORD OF GOD is the many different translations of it.
But...they all say THE SAME THING! Another excuse I've heard is "How
do you know the BIBLE is TRUE?" Well, for one thing....archaeologists
have researched, and studied and their findings PROVE it!....There are
over 14,000 New Testament manuscript copies existing today. And they
can't find more than a paragraph's worth of difference...and most of those
are misspellings or alternate spellings. NONE of them affect any BASIC
DOCTRINE...ON THE CONTRARY....ALL EVIDENCE points to the
conclusion that we have an accurate text.


Even though I KNOW the BIBLE is 100% TRUE ... I can't force you to
accept it. If you don't want to BELIEVE it...you won't...no matter HOW
MUCH EVIDENCE I give you.....What would it take to PROVE to you
that it is God's WORD? I PRAY that somehow you will BELIEVE. I sure
don't want any of my family or friends to spend ETERNITY in HELL.
Eternity means never ending. And HELL is a HORRIBLE place. I know
from what JESUS said about it (in the BIBLE).

All of us are SINNERS. (Yes...YOU TOO!) That is why JESUS came...and
why HE DIED. For the sins of the WORLD! To save us!!!

SALVATION IS A FREE GIFT...BUT...WE MUST FIRST RECEIVE IT
IN ORDER FOR IT TO BE OURS.

Of course you might think you have not sinned....But we are ALL sinners.
(Romans 3:23) Even you!!! And the penalty for SIN is DEATH,
(Rom.6:23) Death....as in ETERNAL SEPARATION from GOD...in a place
created for the DEVIL and his followers....I don't want that for my family
& friends....I want to see them all in HEAVEN...... we all NEED
FORGIVENESS....forgiveness: the removal of the penalty for the wrongs
we have committed.

I never knew I did anything REALLY wrong....not something that would
send me TO HELL....I remember thinking that GOD knows my heart....
and HE knows I mean well. And HE sees the "good things" I do. I KNOW
HE wants me to be happy....and after all, there are a LOT WORSE people
in the world than me!!!


BUT THE BIBLE...GOD'S WORD...SAYS: "ALL HAVE SINNED"
(Romans 3:23)...THAT MEANS ME TOO!

So, no matter WHAT I think...or HOW I feel...no matter how NICE I
am...or how GOOD I've been...no matter how often I go to church...or
how rich or poor or sick or healthy I am...Like it or NOT....I AM A
SINNER! The BIBLE says so...and that is GOD'S WORD! And Romans
6:23 says: "the penalty of sin is DEATH!.. but the GIFT of GOD is
ETERNAL LIFE in CHRIST JESUS our LORD."

JUST IMAGINE....GOD...our HEAVENLY FATHER...our CREATOR...
wants to give us the GIFT of ETERNAL LIFE.. He wants us to live with
HIM forever....and all we have to do is accept JESUS as our personal
LORD & SAVIOR. But so many of us turn our backs on this FREE GIFT
from GOD. We think we don't need it. Or we worry about what people
might think if we became a CHRISTIAN...( a true follower of CHRIST)....
Or maybe we think we'll have to give up having fun. But honestly, I am
having fun! I LOVE JESUS!!! And I know HE LOVES ME TOO. I have an
inner peace that only HE could give me....I don't walk around like a nun
or a monk or something like that....but the reason I don't watch certain
movies or listen to some kinds of music anymore is because I DON'T
WANT TO. I have no desire for it anymore. I can't take pleasure in
watching the very sins JESUS was CRUCIFIED for. It would hurt me too
much. But I don't condemn anyone for watching those movies or listening
to questionable music....I am no better than anyone else, and I've done
WORSE than some of you.

"For God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that
the world might be saved through Him."...John 3:17
 

The reason I am writing all these quotes from the BIBLE is so that
whoever reads this will know why I BELIEVE what I BELIEVE and
where you can look it up in your own BIBLE. Do you have one? Get one in
Today's English. Everyone should have a BIBLE....We get an owners
manual when we buy a car...or a TV...or a stereo...or computer...so we will
know the do's and don'ts. The BEST WAY to keep things running the way
they were MADE to run, by their MANUFACTURER. Well, GOD is our
CREATOR....our manufacturer....and HE had the BIBLE written so we,
HIS CREATION, would run according to HIS plan ( or specifications). Get
it??? It is so simple....SO WHY DO SO MANY OF US MISS IT????

READ THE SIGNS


WARNING!!    CAUTION!!    STOP!!



Sometimes I just want to grab hold of (my family) and shake you!
If you were to walk out in front of a speeding car, I would try my best to
WARN YOU. So that's what I am doing now...I can see something that, at
this point, you cannot see. And I want to WARN YOU before it's too
late...because I love you! I bet right now, you think I've flipped! Why am
I writing this instead of just talking to you? Well...

First of all, I've never felt very confident in my speaking and I always
have written better than I talk.

I would rather take my time writing so that I can look up facts.

And this way I am not interrupted and won't loose my train of thought.

And finally...because I am a CHICKEN! A COWARD! (no guts) I need to
pray more for courage. I guess what I am really afraid of is being rejected
by you...and that would be painful, face to face. And some of you wonder
why I PERSIST in giving you tapes or books. It is because I care so much
about you...I MUST WARN YOU and PRAY for you, and share with you
all that I KNOW to be TRUE!

Believe me....I do know what I am talking about....And I THANK GOD
that HE opened my eyes! I pray in JESUS name that HE will open
YOURS! John 14:6 says..."I am the way, the truth and the life; no one
comes to the father, but through me." (JESUS is the ONLY WAY to
HEAVEN! ) ...John14:9 says..."He who has seen ME has seen the Father."
(God) JESUS IS GOD!!! verse 10 says..."I am in the Father and the
Father in Me." THAT'S THE TRINITY...3 persons in one! God the
Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. THERE IS ONE GOD!


March 1992 .... As much as I love my family, I would be willing to give
them all up if I had to, but God does not want me to give them up, only to
'witness' to them...and to LOVE them...as HE does.....JESUS himself said
in Luke 14:26..."Anyone who wants to be my follower must love me far
more than he does his own father, mother, wife, children, brothers or
sisters....yes, more than his OWN LIFE....otherwise he cannot be my
disciple."

According to the BIBLE...hell will be filled with "religious" people who
tried to come to GOD on their own terms. They will be people who
BELIEVED IN GOD and went to church ( or synagogue), all their lives
without ever discovering the REAL difference between RELIGION and
CHRIST. JESUS told a rabbi he needed to be BORN AGAIN but
"RELIGIOUS" PEOPLE, (because of their religion), feel they do not NEED
a SAVIOR....BUT....RELIGION....cannot be a substitute for CHRIST.
Jesus will one day be our KING and JUDGE...who will rule the earth and
judge every heart....Acts 1:6-11; Rom. 14:7-12.....We cannot fool GOD.
Going to church, communions, baptisms, confirmations, etc., may LOOK
GOOD....but HE knows our hearts. Receiving CHRIST can do what all the
"religion" in the world could never do. I pray for you always.... Lord,
soften their hearts...open their eyes...help them to see the TRUTH that is
YOU...and to humble themselves before You now....in JESUS' name I
pray.


March 24,1992 .... I am sure that by now you all are thinking what a
KOOK I am. "Poor girl"...."whatever happened to her?"...."how could she
change so much?"...."what's gotten into her?".... "why does she want us to
know all this stuff?"... "Does she really believe it all?" YES...I DO! And
that is the only reason I would spend all this time to write this. Because I
do BELIEVE. And I want to share this wonderful news with you!!!! What
if you DIED today...Where do you think you would go??? and why??? If
what you believe isn't true...would you want to know it?? If you would
take the time to plan for a vacation, why wouldn't you take the time to
think about where you will spend eternity?? Isn't ETERNITY more
important? (or don't you believe in an eternal soul?)



April 3,1992 .... JESUS said, " I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE
LIFE."..John 14:6.... One may go wrong in many different directions...but
RIGHT in only ONE. "CHRIST" has come to SET YOU FREE....Trust
Him as your SAVIOR and experience your FREEDOM in CHRIST!

We need not get depressed about death if we are READY for GOD'S
appointed time for us. By putting our faith in CHRIST and living for Him,
we can face death without fear of God's judgment. We know that death
will take us to go on LIVING with HIM.

Our GOD is in HEAVEN.. (Psalm 115:3) God is there, even though we
cannot see HIM. He made the heavens(Ps.19:1), He created the
world(Rom.1:18-20), the constellations (Amos 5:8), and mankind (Exodus
4:11). Though we try to exclude GOD from this world, all the things HE
HAS CREATED give us EVIDENCE HE IS THERE! All creation is an
outstretched finger pointing to GOD...Ignorance is NOT BLISS ... if you
are ignorant about GOD.

Spiritual training must begin at an early age. (read Proverbs 22:6) Our
children may go wrong if we don't start them right!

There is nothing we can say that GOD doesn't hear. Lies...gossip...unkind
remarks.. angry words...disrespectful use of the LORDS name...should
never come from our lips. GOD IS LISTENING

FORGIVENESS


Have you experienced God's forgiveness? Do you have the joy of knowing
that God has REMOVED YOUR SINS and accepted you as HIS CHILD?

If not, you can. JESUS CHRIST became your sin-bearer. HE paid for
every sin. If you trust HIM as your SAVIOR, GOD will freely forgive you.

GOD'S forgiveness changes a sinner into a saint. Think about it.


No one is hopeless whose hope is in GOD. We are not SAVED by reciting a
creed, but by RECEIVING CHRIST. .... God the Father gave up
something HE held dear...HIS ONLY SON. We should all be thankful for
JESUS CHRIST ...GOD'S sacrifice. SALVATION is
FREE....but....SOMEONE paid an ENORMOUS PRICE. Won't you accept
this GIFT??! HOW COULD YOU SAY NO?

I do go on don't I? I guess I just want to share all I know and think and
feel with all my family and friends.

Well, here is another TRUE STORY!

When General "Stonewall" Jackson lost an arm in battle, his chaplain was
sympathetic. But the general replied, "You see me wounded, but not
depressed, not unhappy. I believe it has been according to God's Holy
Will, and I accept it entirely. You may think it strange, but you never saw
me more perfectly contented than I am today, for I am sure my
Heavenly Father designs this affliction for my good. I am perfectly
satisfied that either in this life or in that which is to come, I shall discover
that what is now regarded as calamity is a blessing." What faith! If we
could see as GOD sees, we wouldn't want to miss the invaluable spiritual
lessons we might not gain in any other way. Let's trust GOD. In His time,
we'll clearly see His purposes...if not on earth, then in HEAVEN. P.R.V.


April 8, 1992 .... What haven't I said? I love you all so much. That is why
I am risking pushing you away from me. I have to tell you this GREAT
NEWS! SALVATION is ONLY through JESUS CHRIST. To be saved
from what?? Well, since we are ALL SINNERS, according to GOD'S
WORD, and the PENALTY for SIN is DEATH (eternal separation from
GOD). And since there is nothing we can do ourselves to cleanse away our
sin, then we NEED "Someone" to SAVE US from SIN.

That SOMEONE is...

JESUS!

GOD'S gift to a dying world is the life-giving SAVIOR.

Wise men still "seek" HIM. Some people miss the meaning of Christmas
by getting wrapped up in the "gift-giving", music and festivities. GOD let
us see HIM, by sending HIS SON JESUS to earth. The HEAVENLY
FATHER fully revealed HIMSELF as He is. JESUS was GOD "manifested
in the Flesh".1Tim. 3:16. He made this clear when HE said, "He who has
seen ME has seen the FATHER." John 14:9. This is called the incarnation.
But some people refuse HIS KINGSHIP. Why? Because they do not want
to give in to any authority over their lives. They prefer to rule
themselves....And that is just what Satan wants! He lies to us. HE wants
to hide the TRUTH from us. He wants to steal as many souls as he can
before his time is up.... But GOD loves us SO MUCH that CHRIST died
for us. .... We can show our LOVE for HIM by living for HIM.

There's no greater love than to lay down your life for a friend. Don't let a
day go by without thanking God for His Love.

If you don't believe GOD IS REAL or that HE can change your whole
life...challenge Him. He will prove Himself to you. Just ASK Jesus to come
into your heart, sincerely, asking HIM to forgive your sins, and to be
LORD of your life. If you sincerely want JESUS to come into your heart,
HE will. And you will be BORN AGAIN!!! Really!! Try it in faith....What
have you got to loose? (are you AFRAID to try?) Do you REALLY and
SINCERELY want to know GOD? To love HIM? To serve HIM? To live
with HIM forever in HEAVEN? .....Well, what are you waiting for?? Are
you scared? Embarrassed? Don't you BELIEVE that GOD has the
POWER to change you??? Maybe you don't think you NEED to
change....But, if you don't have a personal relationship with JESUS....and
read GOD'S WORD (the Bible), and KNOW HE is LORD, then, YOU NEED
TO CHANGE!!! Unless, of course, you don't care about spending
ETERNITY in HELL. (Eternity is a long time.....Never
ending....always...get it? Don't believe me!! BELIEVE HIM!! I'm such a
bad example, but I'm praying to be better. Don't use people like Jim
Baker as an excuse for not wanting to be BORN AGAIN. One bad apple
doesn't spoil the bunch. And I know there's more than one. But all
Italians aren't in the Mafia either! So don't mistrust ALL BORN AGAIN
CHRISTIANS. I'm a BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN, and there are a lot of us
who are sincere. And....JESUS Himself said...."You must be born again."
John 3:3.


There's really nothing I can say to prove any of this to you if you have no
FAITH...... If you truly desire to spend eternity in HEAVEN with GOD
our FATHER, then you MUST humble yourself before GOD and ask HIM
in.

Jesus said, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears my
voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him and he
with Me." Rev.3:20 JESUS is knocking at the door of your heart...right
now...Won't you open up and let HIM IN?

May 7,1992 ....Family, I just wish there was some way of convincing you
that what I am trying to tell you is THE TRUTH. It's not just what I
believe, (my opinion). But the absolute TRUTH!

JESUS is Real

He is GOD! He is ALIVE! Just call out to HIM. Ask HIM into your heart.
HE will come in. You know, it's not ENOUGH to be a GOOD PERSON to
be SAVED. Going to church or repeating prayers WON'T get you into
HEAVEN. Taking care of your family, though a "good thing", WON'T do it
either. ONLY TRUSTING in JESUS CHRIST as your LORD & SAVIOR
can do it. give your life over to HIM. Turn from any known sin. It is your
CHOICE! Which will it be?? HEAVEN or HELL? WHERE WILL YOU
spend ETERNITY? It could begin at any moment. Don't wait until it's too
late.

I really want to see you in HEAVEN. I know I'll be there. Not because I
deserve to be there. Not because I haven't done anything BAD. (I have)
Not because of what church I go to. (That makes no difference to ones
salvation) Not because I'm perfect. (I'm NOT!) (ask Joe) But because of
my FAITH IN JESUS!!! You can't just SAY you have FAITH in Jesus. It's
more than just HEAD KNOWLEDGE...more than just WORDS. You must
make a commitment to HIM.

If you continue to take HIS name in vain....and live your life for yourself,
not turning from your sin....then you don't have a "saving faith". There
MUST be a change in you after you ACCEPT JESUS as your SAVIOR. If
you truly have BELIEVED in HIM, and turned from your sin, and are
BORN AGAIN, you will be different. You will FEEL it, and you will
KNOW it's real. Your spiritual eyes and ears will be opened and you will
be able to SEE CLEARLY the sin that kept you from a RIGHT
RELATIONSHIP with GOD. Your priorities will change. You will know
that the MOST IMPORTANT thing in your life is your relationship with
JESUS. Even more important than your family! Because JESUS said if
you aren't willing to leave your family for Him then you cannot be His
disciple. (follower) And a relationship with your family is NOT what saves
you from HELL. But your relationship with JESUS, as Lord and Savior.
He must be #1. No ifs and or buts about it.....If JESUS is LORD of your
life, HE comes first. He is in charge of all you do. HE'S the BOSS!
 

"MY BOSS IS A JEWISH CARPENTER" Have you seen that bumper sticker?

He should be our "boss", so to speak.

So, if you are still doing what YOU want, making YOURSELF
happy...living for YOURSELF, instead of for GOD....then it's time you
came to know YOUR MASTER. The Creator of ALL THINGS wants to
have a personal relationship with you. HE LOVES YOU, and is waiting for
you to come home to Him. Isn't that AWESOME??!! But...HE won't wait
forever. Time is running out. The LORD will return to judge us, then it
will be TOO LATE to decide. And we KNOW NOT at what time HE will
come. HE will come when we least expect it. (Luke 12:40)...So BE READY!
The only way to BE READY is to place your faith in JESUS.

Pray now to accept Him as your LORD and SAVIOR. Ask Him to come
into your heart. Ask the HOLY SPIRIT to show you what GOD'S will is
for you. Ask HIM to take control of your life, to guide you, to give you
WISDOM and INSIGHT. Then, begin reading GOD'S WORD (the BIBLE),
every day. He will speak to you through the pages. And as you begin to
grow in your relationship with HIM, you will be stronger and happier
than ever before. I don't mean life will be PERFECT, but HE will give you
HIS PEACE. If you want it, you can have it.


Oct 1,1992 .... Maybe you agree with everything I have said. Maybe not.
But if you do, what have you DONE about it? In order to RECEIVE a gift
you need to TAKE IT, right? Well, the GIFT of SALVATION is like that
too. You must ACCEPT it. You must ACT upon your BELIEF. You need
to make a DECISION to ask JESUS to come in, to be your personal
SAVIOR and LORD. Then READ HIS WORD!! No excuses please, like "I
don't have the time" or " I don't like to read". The BIBLE is GOD'S LOVE
LETTERS to you!! How can you NOT READ IT?

Of course....maybe you don't agree with what I have said. Maybe you
think it is all just MY OPINION. but...it is FACT! And it will be proven to
you someday. One day EVERY knee will bow and every tongue confess
that Jesus Christ is Lord...Philippians 2:10-ll. EVERY includes yours. If
you are a NON-BELIEVER, prove me wrong. Read God's Word, study it,
and you just might discover THE TRUTH! If you don't have faith, but
want faith, ask GOD to give you the faith you need and He will give it to
you. And if you do BELIEVE but are afraid to act upon that belief by
making a commitment to live for CHRIST, because you are afraid of
rejection BY PEOPLE, then remember what JESUS said: "...but whoever
denies Me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in
Heaven." ....Matthew 10:33. That's pretty scary...and in Mark 8:38
JESUS says: "For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this
adulterous and sinful generation of him will the Son of man also be
ashamed, when He comes in the Glory of His Father with the holy
angels."

Now, I believe what the BIBLE says. And I certainly don't want JESUS to
be ashamed of me or deny me before GOD. Do you?

WITHOUT JESUS THERE IS NO WAY INTO HEAVEN

Put God First

Oct.2, 1992 ....  If I put GOD first, HE will
always take care of me. I TRUST HIM because HE said in HIS WORD
that..."..in everything God works for good with those who love Him, who
are called according to His purpose."Rom.8:28 So, if I obey HIM, no
matter what happens in my life, HE will work all things for my good. I
believe it. My faith is in HIM. Not in people. People will pass away, but
GOD'S WORD is FOREVER.

We shouldn't choose to hold together our relationships with others by
sacrificing our relationship with JESUS. We will loose everything in the
end. We can't have it both ways.

In Luke 14:26...JESUS says: "If anyone comes to Me and does not hate
his father, mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes and his
own life also, he cannot be My disciple."

verse 33..."So therefore, whoever of you does not renounce all that he has
cannot be my disciple."

Matthew 10:37-38...JESUS says: "He who loves father or mother more
than me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter more
than me is not worthy of me; and he who does not take up his cross and
follow me is not worthy of me."

The meaning of these verses is clear....Neither any person nor any thing
can be permitted to take precedence over the LORD JESUS. HE must
come FIRST.

If and when you are ready to make such a commitment, you need to pray
for your spouse or other family members or friends to also come to
JESUS. It can happen! Nothing is impossible with GOD. I used to be so
left-wing!! So ULTRA LIBERAL. Look what GOD did with me!!! (thank
You Lord) Oh, I am FAR from perfect. Anyway....it has to be your
decision. I can't force it. But it is the MOST IMPORTANT DECISION you
will EVER make, because it will affect WHERE you will spend
ETERNITY!


We are all going to die...but we have souls that will live on for all
ETERNITY....somewhere. Either HEAVEN or HELL. What's your choice?
It is your choice you know. Going to church won't save you. Memorizing
the names of the books in the BIBLE won't save you. Having a godly
mother or father won't save you. saying bedtime or mealtime prayers
won't save you. Wishing & hoping won't save you.

THERE'S ONLY ONE WAY!

TO BE SAVED...AT THE CROSS OF JESUS! That is why HE came...to
die. For YOU! Won't you ask Him in?

Do you believe in HEAVEN and (or) HELL?

Where do you think you'll go when you die?

If what you believe isn't TRUE, would you want to know?


DO YOU HAVE ETERNAL LIFE THROUGH FAITH IN JESUS
CHRIST??


WHY PAY THE HIGH PRICE of being LOST when SALVATION is
FREE?!!

ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME?


CHEER UP, DON'T BE AFRAID...FOR THE LORD YOUR GOD HAS
ARRIVED. HE IS A MIGHTY SAVIOR. HE WILL GIVE YOU VICTORY.
HE WILL REJOICE OVER YOU WITH GREAT GLADNESS.

VERY IMPORTANT to every human being. I know there are a lot of
KOOKS out there, who have a twisted view of religion. But Christianity

meet. In fact, now that you know what I think & feel, I don't need to say
much else. The rest is up to you. Ask me anything you want and if I don't
know the answer, I'll be happy to find it out for you.

I know it isn't COOL to talk about JESUS. Unless of course I'm talking to
other Christians. but believing in JESUS is COOL. In fact...without HIM,
you'll BURN! (get it?) Now THAT'S not cool. So don't sweat it...keep cool
with JESUS! Don't be a fool.. trust in HIM. Anyway...I'm no expert. I just
know what I know. And I pray, one day, YOU will KNOW TOO.

I'm Not a Slave


May 4,1992 .... I'm not a slave, but I am a SERVANT. JESUS came to
serve.
He washed HIS disciples feet as an example to show us how we
must serve one another. IF THE SON OF GOD SERVED OTHERS,
SHOULD I DO ANY LESS? Who am I to refuse? Does that make
me a slave? I think not. (This is in response to an un-named person
who insinuated that Christian women are slaves to their husbands.) NOT!

All of this EQUAL RIGHTS garbage is straight from Satan!!

It is just to destroy the PERFECT plan that GOD has for us.

If Satan can make women feel that they are being treated unfairly by men, then we women will rebel and
fight for "our rights".

And Satan wins the battle, NOT US! We LOOSE!!

Because we have LOST all that GOD had planned for us. And HIS plan has
to be the best because HE is perfect! He is our LOVING FATHER. HE only
wants the best for us. But....HE does not manipulate us. He will allow us
to make our own choices. We have FREE WILL. So....if Satan can appeal
to our "pride", (a very dangerous thing), then we are in BIG TROUBLE!

We need to stay close to the WORD OF GOD (the Bible), so that we will know the
WILL of GOD. We need to TRUST HIM. "FATHER" KNOWS BEST....and that's
the truth.

THE DUTY OF BELIEVERS

April 1992 .... Husbands and wives are told to be subject to one another
out of reverence for Christ.
Wives be subject to your husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head
of the wife as Christ is the head of the church.... Ephesians 5:21-23.

Even so husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. verse 28.
For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife,
and the two shall become one flesh. verse 31.
...however, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see
that she respects her husband. verse 33.

To be subject to someone is (according to Webster) to be under the
authority or control of another. Paul's letter to the Colossians states:

Wives, be subject to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands,
love your wives, and do not be harsh with them. Col.3:18.

And in the first letter of Peter we read in chapter 3...

Likewise you wives, be submissive to your husbands...etc. and
again 1 Peter 3:7 says: live considerately with your wives, bestowing
honor on the woman as the weaker sex, since you are joint heirs
of the grace of life...
 

The three references I have quoted are from the BIBLE. God's Word. It
is He who has told us how we are to relate to one another, regardless of who
did the actual writing. Because all of the Bible is God-inspired.

The point I wish to make is this: God instituted (made up) marriage. It was
His idea. And HE has the perfect plan for it to work out. So... if we would
only follow His instructions, we could begin to receive His Blessings.

Not that life will be perfect...but only by obeying His Word can we ever
even hope to find TRUE happiness, peace, contentment and fulfillment.

Do you understand?? We can't expect our marriages to work out the way
God intended unless we follow His guidelines. MAKES SENSE TO ME.
And I am a product of the 1960's...FREE LOVE...."IF IT FEELS GOOD,
DO IT! " DO MY OWN THING..."EQUAL RIGHTS!". WOMEN'S LIB..
generation. BUT...if "doing my own thing" means going against God's plan
for my life...how can i expect his blessings???

I always tried to be EQUAL with my husband, and I tried to be the
"boss" sometimes. (I wanted control) But that was not GOD'S plan. Who
knows better, us or GOD???!! BELIEVE ME...I've tried it both ways, and
GOD'S way is best! And it sets a good example for your children too. After
all, how can we expect our children to obey the Lord if we don't? Well...I
just needed to say that.

Let me tell you, reading this again is ministering to ME!! Thank You Lord!!

"Dead Ducks Don't Flutter"

A wealthy man went duck hunting with one of his employees named
Sam, so the story goes. They took a horse and carriage, and on the way
a rim came off one of the wheels. As Sam hammered it back on, he hit his
finger and let go with some bad words. He quickly fell to his knees, asking
God's forgiveness. "Lord, it's so hard at times to live the Christian life", he
prayed.

"Sam", said his boss, "I know you're a Christian. but tell me, why do you
struggle so? I'm an atheist, and I don't have problems like that."

Sam was silent. Just then two ducks flew overhead. The boss raised his gun and two shots rang out.

"Leave the dead one and go after that wounded bird",
he shouted. Sam pointed at the duck that was fluttering desperately to escape
and said, "I've got an answer for you now, boss. You implied that my Christianity
isn't any good because I have to struggle so. Well, I'm the wounded duck, and I
struggle to get away from the devil.

But boss, you're the dead duck!"


Flutter is a sign of life.
