The first step to starting your "healthy lifestyle" is to find out where you are now. On this page you will find links to various calculators. You will be able to check your body fat percentage, which will tell you if you are at increased risk for various health problems. You can find out how many calories you burn in a typical day and how many you need to maintain your ideal weight. You will be able to calculate what your ideal weight actually is. There is even a heart rate calculator to find your target heart rate and training zones. Also included are various calorie/fat counters, so you can find out the nutrient value of your favorite foods. These resources are all available on the web, you just have to look for them. I have placed them all here in one spot, and you don't have to be a math wiz to figure the out.
