March 15, 2003 - Only 14 more days until Michelle skates for US Glory as she tries for her 8th World Championship medal. There has been some speculation about whether or not the worlds will go on as planned, with the tensions rising in Iraq. Only 6 more days until Michelle skates for America, and with her heart out. Ladies practice was last night. None of the U.S. women has arrived. Four-time world champion Michelle Kwan and Olympic gold medalist Sarah Hughes are expected to practice on Tuesday. Sasha Cohen, the U.S. bronze medalist, is scheduled to skate Monday.
March 25, 2003 - Michelle was at the MCI Center in Washington D.C. today. Here is an exerpt from some Michelle Kwan fans who were at the ladies free skate practice. This is what they had to say about her.
"I went to ladies practice this morning. Michelle was there! Michelle did a complete run-through with 7 triples! She took out the split falling leaf and the spread eagle and added the last triple toe. It was reported that MK did not make ONE mistake - perfection!!! The rest of the ladies did not do complete run-throughs." And "She did a completely perfect run-through. Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous!!!"
