"Walking With Angels"

Five years have passed my sweet granddaughter
Since God came and took you home,
Do you walk in angel's gardens?
In fields of daisies do you roam?

Is your mansion filled with treasures
Not of the earthly kind,
But love and joy and peace abound,
And happiness abides.

Can you reach out and pick a star
And send it down to earth,
To remind us that your near us,
To help relieve our hurts.

When the gentle winds blow on our cheek
Is that you my sweet child?
Sending us a kiss to keep,
And reminding us of your sweet smile.

When moonbeams shine upon my pillow
I know you sent them there,
To let me know your with me,
And that you'll always care.

Whenever I see a rainbow in
the skies of azure blue
I remember how beautiful you are,
As I think lovingly of you.

One day together we'll walk with Angels
On Heaven's streets of gold,
Till than my sweet Cassandra,
Your sweet memory I will lovingly hold.

Love you Forever "Angel Girl"

Child of Mine
A child of God's I think they call..
That little girl of mine.
The one I held so close to me
For all that countless time.

For all the Moms and Dads out there
That have a special one..
You know that child of God's you have
You call your little girl.

I call her mine as I see now
I held her when she cried...

Dear Lord I know you set with us
And held her hand
I know you loved that daughter of mine
And loved us all you can.

But Lord I gave her life you see..
It was me that held her first,
It was you that watched us both so close
And helped us through the worst..

The child of mine I lend you now...
Take care of her for me...
And help the other Moms and Dads
As I know its hard to see...
That little child we call our daughter
Was really meant to be.
We’ll loan her to you for a while,
So love her while you may..
Cause when you call us home again
That will be the day...
I will hold that child of mine again
In my arms is where she’ll stay.
