The Unofficial John Fuglesang Appreciation Page - Biography
This is the biography that appears on the two pages that offer it.
It is word for word identical, so I'll assume it's the official one:
"John Fugelsang, best known for his various emceeing
duties on VH1, brings to (insert show name here) a
talent rooted in comedy and performance as well as a
genuine affinity for the material.
"In addition to hosting VH1 Archives and VH1's Rock and Roll
Picture Show, Fugelsang also moderated the cable network's
live Town Hall specials with Paul McCartney and Garth Brooks."
(He must have Loved the Garth Special).
"He has guest-hosted Later with Greg Kinnear, appeared
on Friday Night and was a regualar contributor to NBC's
Real Life. He also has appeared on ABC's Politically Incorrect
With Bill Maher and CNBC's America's Talking, as well as Comedy
Central's Stand Up, Stand Up, VH1's Stand Up Spotlight,
and Flix. Fugelsang also hosts and serves as co-writer
for American Classic, which is the highest-rated program
on VH1 UK."

CASTING DIRECTORS TAKE NOTE*********************
"Although widely recognized for his humor, Fugelsang
is no stranger to the dramatic stage. His regional
and New York acting credits include HAMLET, THE
MISANTHROPE, THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE and WEST SIDE
STORY. He will soon be seen as Sandra Berndhard's
one-night stand in the independant feature, SOMEWHERE
IN THE CITY, and as Ozzie, the Hen-Pecked Metalhead,
in FINAL RINSE.
"An NYU Film School graduate..."
(Note: As a B.U. student in the Film/TV tract, I can
tell you that the communications college of many major
universities have more acting hopefulls than the Fine
Arts schools. Same is true here, and we have the 6th
best S.F.A. school in the country).
"...Fugelsang recieved the 1997 Manhattan Association
of Cabaret and Clubs (MACC) award for outstanding New
York monolodist, the 1996 Backstage Bistro award for
outstanding comedian and the 1995 MACC award for New
York male cabaret debut -- all in conjunction with his
long-running, one-man show, JUNK MALE. He has performed
at Caroline's, Stand Up New York, the Improv, the Comic
Strip and HBO's Fisrt U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen,
as well as at colleges and clubs throughout the
country."
