I lost my 16 yr.old daughter, Cassie, to pneumonia January 27, 1999. There is not a day that goes by that we don't long to be with her, to see her smile, to hear her sweet voice.
We want so desperately to hold her, kiss her, and tell her how much we love and miss her. Cassandra was a beautiful young girl who had a heart of gold. She touched all those she came across with her loving and caring ways. She was such a special child that we often told her she was our "angel". We joked that God didn't make children like her anymore, she was the sweetest to be found.
Since Cassandra left this earth to be with God, we have felt so much pain and sorrow. It's very difficult to get from one day to the next. There is such a void in our lives and our hearts are truly broken.
We know that she is in Heaven shining down on us. We believe that one day we will all be together again. Until then we must keep our faith in God, knowing that he loves us and is willing to help us through our grief. All we have to do is ask, then trust and believe. May all who come across this site be blessed.
