Oh, and what a cute baby brother he was!! I remember the cold, snowy night he joined our family. Grandpa Burns came over to stay with us and I was watching Dad help Mom out to the car. They got about as far as the old green sandbox and Mom went right down on her knees!! I was so scared by that, but so excited that the big day had finally arrived. It was the middle of the night and I said I was going to stay awake until they called! Grandpa Burns promptly told me, "NO, you are not!!" and off to bed we went. Sleep overtook the best intentions, but Grandpa informed us first thing the next morning that John Dixon had arrived!
