SAINT DOMINIC'S LAY TERTIARIES

* "GO OUT TO ALL THE WORLD, AND TELL THE GOOD NEWS." (Mk 16:15) * **********************************************************************

"Come to Him a living stone, rejected indeed by men but chosen and honored by God. Be you yourselves as living stones, built thereon into a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. Hence Scripture says, "Behold, I lay in Zion
a chief corner stone, chosen, precious; and he who believes in it shall not be put to shame." I Peter 2:4

CELEBRATING THE END of THE FIRST 50 YEARS

"One generation passeth away; and another generation cometh." (Ecclesiastes 1:4)

and THE BEGINNING of NEXT 50 YEARS

Pope Benedict XV (1914-1922), himself a Dominican Tertiary, said; "Among the means of holiness most useful and opportune for the defense and progress of Christian faith and morals in our day, we recognize the Dominican Third Order as one of the most eminent, easy and secure." The same holds true today as it did in his day.
