Tiffany Brissette
as Vicki Lawson
About Vicki...
Vicki (technically "VICI"
- Voice Input Child Identicant) was created by robotics genius
Ted Lawson to test his theory that androids can not only look
like real people, but learn to interact with and act as real
people. Though she's not fully "perfected", Vicki lives
with the Lawsons, is adopted into their family, eventually goes
to school, and perfects her abilities to interact with other
people, as well as learn to accomplish tasks at home. Though
programmed as a normal girl, she is capable of tasks only a robot
can do - such as lifting furniture to dust under it, or make
burritos at an incredible speed. Multi-talented, Vicki is able to
fit in well in most situations, although aukwardly at times.
Vicki isn't capable of producing or understanding emotions
(although, on rare occasion, she comes close), but she does mimic
human behavior, and is always adding new information about life
among humans to her memory banks.
About Miss
Brissette...
Incredibly multi-talented
peaches-and-cream Tiffany Brissette stars as the stoic-faced
android Vicki on Small Wonder.
Though seemingly "confined" in such a role, Miss
Brissette is well-known among cast and crew as always being
extremely professional while in front of, and behind, the camera.
Though not the leading character in many storylines, Miss
Brissette's presence is definately an essential part to Small
Wonder. Occasionally, she was allowed to
demonstrate her talents in dancing and gymnastics, among many
others, and was twice even given the role of another android,
Vicki's "twin sister" Vanessa, who was definately
anything but
stoic-faced! Though she has been acting since an early age, Miss
Brissette never intended to make acting her lifetime career, and
since Small Wonder,
she has retired from typecasting Hollywood. Always devoutly
spiritual, she now works as a councillor at her church. She also
has a degree in psychology.
