Greg: (IN) The 2001 champion will be at the 2002 Tournament and plans on competing in all three major events. Greg expects to arrive in Lowell first thing Saturday morning after spending the night before the tournament in Boston.
Corey: (IN) One of the first to confirm his attendence, Corey will be hoping to win his third HFT championship
Jim: (IN) There wouldn't be a tournament without Jim of course, since he hosts the thing. He will be going for his first championship and will of course compete in all the events.
Steve: (IN) Similarly to Jim, Steve, who along with Corey is the only person to win a singles & doubles championship as well as winning The Big Game, is going to try to accomplish all three of those feats at once.
Nicky: (IN) Nicky's been at every tourney since 1997. He will be in it, and he will win in the first round, those are guaranteed.
Angel: (IN) Angel will be at the tournament but will be late due to work.
Keith: (IN) All that shit talking for nothing? Of course not...Keith will be at the tournament. Whether he wins anything and backs up his mouth or not thats another question.
Wilson: (IN) Wilson will indeed be at the Halloween Foosball Tournament. He is expected to head back to Lowell on Friday and perhaps even get some practice in the night before.
Billy (OUT) Billy Gendron is considered retired. He last competed in 1998, and despite talks of a comeback last year, there is no reason to expect him to return this year.
Patrick*updated* (DOUBTFUL)Patrick hasn't given up hope, however the Hakmeng option has apparently run out, and the chances of this Republican making it back to Lowell tomorrow are slim.
Kenny (PROBABLE) Kenny's status has neither been confirmed nor denied. There's no reason to believe he won't be there, however.
Dale (OUT) No one knows where he is...
The Legendary Chuck: (DOUBTFUL) At this point it doesn't look good for a TLC comeback in 2002. Steve and Corey haven't been able to contact him. Before missing last year's, Chuck had never missed a Halloween Foosball Tournament.
Sothey: (QUESTIONABLE) On one hand, Sothey has said he wouldn't have any work obligations. On the other hand he hasn't said anything much to confirm an intention of going either.
Brice (OUT) Brice is retired. He last competed in 1997.
Kyle (PROBABLE) Kyle's in the same boat as Kenny. Haven't heard back from him.
Nick L. (PROBABLE) Ditto.
Colin (PROBABLE) Same thing again.
Derek (IN) Derek confirmed his attendance to Steve on Tuesday. Its unknown if he will take off the stripes and join the football game, or serve as the ref again.
Gina (IN) Gina will be there. But she won't be anywhere near the video camera...OH DIS
Jon (DOUBTFUL)*updated* Jon is a "package deal" with Pat. If Patrick can make it, his brother will come as well. If not, Jon probably won't go.
Lena (OUT) Away at college. Lena like will not attend because of a change in situation with Greg.
Joey (UNKNOWN) Joey Higson was at the 2000 Halloween Foosball Tournament. Last year his brother said that was a "One Time Thing", however James Higson did not attend in 2001 either.
Angela (DOUBTFUL) I do not believe Nicky has contacted her.
Christos/Amanda:(OUT) This brother/sister tandem are cousins to the Ostis brothers, but they are not expected to the 2002 HFT, and are both considered retired.
Shane: (OUT) You can put him with Brice as well. He's retired.
Shawn McKennedy: (OUT) Not expected to attend.
Paul(OUT) Billy's brother, Not expected to attend.
James Higson: (IN) James Higson has announced his intention to return the Halloween Foosball Tournament in 2002. Unless there is a dance in Dracut I guess....
Hakmeng Kang (DOUBTFUL) Hakmeng may be a package deal with Patrick (and therefore, Jon). He faces the same issues of transportation that Pat does over at UMass Amherst and has recently said he doubts he will be able to resolve those issues.
Shawn Paradise: (PROBABLE) It sounded like Shawn would attend the 2002 Tournament during a recent conversation between Jim and Keith.
Bona "Ric Flair" Poun (UNKNOWN) Steve had talked about contacting him, but so far we do not know if he has or not.
Jimmy Tran: (OUT) Rumored to be making his HFT debut. Will instead be in Boston this weekend due to a prior engagement.
