LOWELL, MA- The first trip to Burger King of October is in the books as James Ostis and Steve Ostis both went to the official unofficial site of the Halloween Foosball diet. Like several times last year,Lucky was at BK also at the time.
Last October, not only Jim and Steve, but also Halloween Foosball players like Corey, Greg, and Lena were seen at Burger King during that month, probably among many others. Many see the high-fat, high calories of Burger King food somehow beneficial to Foosball success, or at least thats what they tell me.
The Oil controversy is expected to heat up as we approach 10/27. Do we oil the field up a week before? the day of the tournament? If you ask most members of the foosball committee, they feel that it never should have been oiled up in the first place. In fact, you can expect Jim to touch upon the whole oil controversy in his online column due up sometime this week. And I'm sure Greg will present his side of this slippery argument.
