Lots of news in this friday update....
Organizers are hard at work on the details of the Halloween Foosball Football Game, or as its more often known: Angel's football game. Angel Nales, the football game's main advocate was recently asked about the possibility of being on the same team as long time rival, Patrick Casserly . While the nickname, Twin Towers would be very inappropriate considering the circumstances, Angel however said that they were like the "Empire State Building and Statue of Liberty."
On the subject of the football game, there are some people, namely Steve. 71 Barry! Anyways, Steve wants to have people sign up to participate in the game in the weeks leading up to the game and then there will be a draft and the rosters would be set beforehand. Angel has said everyone should be there at "2.", thats not going to happen.
Also, James Ostis attended City Councilor Rithy Uong's fundraiser Thursday night. A bumper sticker now adorns his car from that gala event.
Jim and Steve both went to Burger King today as is the October tradition. Lucky was there of course, but no other Foosball competitors were spotted.
On Wednesday, Steve and Sothey were both involved in discussions about Power Rangers. Power Rangers came up as a result of Michael Clohesy bringing it up. Steve said he doesn't watch the show anymore because the Power Rangers are in Space or something. Sothey also mentioned his favorite Power Ranger of all time, Tommy the Green Ranger. The Halloween Foosball Committee's official stance agrees with him.
