I have been called in the past month or so arrogant, racist, and a hypocrite. Let me be the first to say that all of these accusasions are complete bullshit. Also, two of thoese accusasions have nothong to do with foosball. Many people say that I am arrogant, and it cost me the championships in '98 and '99. Maybe I have been a little proud. But i am here to tell you that I am turning over a new leaf. I wont completely change myself, I'm just turning the arrogance down. The year 2000 means the new millenium and a time for change.
Arrogance, where does it come from? Probably from talent and the hype. I went into '96 and '97 without any plan. I went into both tournements and came out victorious without much difficulty. Sometime between '97 and '98 I was caught up in the hype, and it cost me a championship. I made the same mistake twice. This year is different. I am out to prove that I am the greatest Halloween Foosball player ever. I still have what it takes to win, I'm not just some young gun who got lucky in the early years. This is my year. My only focus is the foosball tournament.
As for my competitors, say what you want. I am out to win. Steve says he mopped the floor with me last year...it was a close game. It doesn't matter what happened the past four years. The past is behind me, I will win, this is my year.
