Halloween Foosball Tournament accomplishments
Nicky is the #5 guy in Halloween Foosball. He's a former finalist and has the most victories outside the "Big Four". One of the most impressive things to Nicky's record is that in five years, he has never lost in the first round of the Halloween Foosball Tournament. He has competed in every edition since 1997.
In 2001, Nicky won his first round matchup against Gina before losing to Jim in the second round. It was revenge for Jim, who lost to Nicky in the semi-finals in '98 during Nicky's magical run. Nicky's streak is not limited to the singles tournament either as his doubles team w/ Kyle advanced to the second round as well. They lost to the team of Jim and Angel, leading Nicky to be not very pleased with Jim that evening.
In 2000, Nicky defeated James Higson in the first round. However he lost to Steve for the 2nd year in a row in the 2nd round. Still, as the youngest competitor ever, and with him just entering the prime of his middle school years, Nicky may make a return trip to the finals before you know it.
Nicky's magical Cinderella run in 1998 was shocking and amazing. He defeated 3 older competitors including both of his brothers on his way to a match against Corey. Although it has been Corey who has become a foosball icon since then, it was Nicky who was the surprise story of that night. In the next year, Nicky faced Angela OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH.....
